  1. I have the same model Cumare and a Magnesium in 6'6 MH. Not the exact match you were looking for but close. In my opinion they are very similar. They are both outstanding rods, but if I had to choose I would go with the Cumara.
  2. I have the Browning backpack, and it is great. It will work for any type of fishing application.
  3. I really like the Bass Patrol jigs. For two bucks you can't go wrong. For a trailer I like the Berkley Powerbait Chigger. Good Luck
  4. I would defiantly put the Stradic FI on the cumara. I have the same setup and I love it. You could get one of the new Symetre reels for your Johnny Morris.
  5. I really like them.
  6. This may be a stupid question, but what is the deal with storing your reels with the drag backed off? Also what damage can be done by keeping the reels on your rods?
  7. Nice fish. Can you tell me what type of hooks and bait do you use for carp
  8. Good info, thanks
  9. Looking Good 8-)
  10. They look very good.
  11. Bassboss, you have two think about the long haul. I have about 8 tackle boxes and bags because I continued to run out of space. If you just spend a little more now and buy something really worth your wild you will save money in the long run. I have the Browning tackle backpack that I bought at Basspro. This thing is awesome, you can fit everything. Tackle, raingear, lunch and more plus it is hands free. I also has a detachable bottom portion. Great for shore and boat fishing. I do both. Then you can get a Falcon or Plano tackle specific box for any type of lure. For soft plastics a have four of the falcon file bags that fit in the backpack with additional space. Check it out.
  12. I was considering buying a couple of the Salmo Boxer lures. Any Feedback on them or any other Salmo lures would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  13. Thanks for the info
  14. Can anyone give me a rough estimate on the cost for a trip like you guys are talking about? Also can you recommend a guide or travel package. Any info will be greatly appreciated.
  15. Very Cool, thanks for the info. Seriously though are you willing to sell me a couple?
  16. Those are outstanding. Can you explain the process? Will you sell me a couple?
  17. Ken Rollo Stratford, CT I am a member of Southern Connecticut Bass Angler s Just starting bass fishing this last season and have been saltwater fishing for about 2 years I fish all over ct and fish as often as possible I fish as a non boater but have an 18 ft wellcraft I am working on. I think with some work I can use this boat for bass fishing as well as saltwater fishing. I enjoy making spinner baits, buzz baits and jigs when not fishing
  18. That frog does look really good. I will have to get one.
  19. I used the Dancing Eel Jr early in the season in a small lake, and killed them with it. Not a lot of size but the smaller bass would hammer it.
  20. I am having a little trouble with this stuff. I used a lighter to heat up some jig heads but they are not coming out glossy. I thought this was happing because the jigs were not hot enough. This time I heated them up a little more and the led melted. I was thinking that if I put them in the oven it will heat them evenly and may work better. Will they melt? How long do I put them in for? What Temp? Is it safe in your oven used for cooking?
