First off sorry I have not been on much recently...

Got this nice white koi about 5 feet out on some corn. Got him on a medium action spinning set up and he put up a great fight even though he did not make for any long runs...

Nice hand size bluegill on a rooster tail

One of three 4-5 LB carp I caught in an hour on the same day...These small carp fight well for their size. The carp had a great spawn in this lake recently and there are many around this size

One of two nice catfish I caught this past saturday.. I was fighing for carp with dough balls at the time and ended the day with two catfish and only one carp. This catfish was the first catfish I ever caught that jumped clean out of the water...

Second catfish I caught on saturday. When I hooked into this guy I could have sworn I had a 10LB+ carp. This catfish fought amazingly hard on the medium spinning gear and 8 LB test. I remember him makeing 3 long runs. This catfish was very healthy and was very thick accross the middle which does not show in the picture....

Not realy been doing any bass fishing the last three weeks. Two cold fronts have moved through recently makeing bass fishing very slow. Funny thing though is after a cold front moves through the carp and catfish fishing improves while the bass fishing gets worse..... I dont mind though as long as I can catch a fish of any species....

Yeah he put up a good fight on my ultralight with 4 LB test. On UL gear those big bluegills are fun.

Small hook baited with just bread, dough, or corn. I have been catching them between 5-20 feet out in that lake. The key is just to find them....and find them when they are feeding. If you can find feeding carp you will have a good day...
