I want to fish for trophies and I don't care if it means sacrificing number for quality. So how do I find some monster bass this summer?

yup they will hit them same lure over again most of the time a bass hits your lure because it thinks it is real right? So if he thought it was real once he should think it is real again

I don't like the sure set hooks. Its seems like I hang my own line more than the fish and there is a higher chance of gut hooking fish. However I haven't use the dt's but I have used the jointed shad rap and it seems if I used between 12 and 14lb test I could get it down where I wanted.

can anyone give me some info on these? Like how to fish them and where? Also what are some good jigging spoon brands out there?

flies are very light weight so casting may be an issue

Ok I need some serious help I cant find the bass ANYWHERE! the water is a lot higher than last year at this time and I have tried shallow, I tried tight to cover the only thing I haven't tried is out in the deep 20 foot water of the reservoir and I am fixing to try that tomorrow. So what are your favorite summer tactics when the water is high?

So the world record bass was caught in Japan, while the world record Snakehead was caught in Viginia? Makes perfect sense to me. :D Not to interrupt this thread but I am a huge George Washingtonian Perry and in his defense it technically it only tied the record and therefore George's should be listed as #1
