I normally use wake baits on this pond but they haven't been hitting those or shallow cranks

I would say for the most part the grass is about 1ft to .5ft under the surface

Ok so I've been fishing a local pond lately and been doing pretty well with an Elgrande 4.5in rattlesanke rigged weightless. Most of the fish seem to be pretty shallow since most of them have been caught right next to the bank. The water is gin clear and there is an abundance of submerged grass. Because of the grass most crankbaits are out and a C-rig is also pretty hard to use. Does anyone have any suggestions for a reaction type presentation that might work under these conditions?? So I was able to see the implosion of the old stadium live today....It was pretty sweat considering that I was standing close enough to feel the shock-wave of every explosion The coolest part was how the explosions were all timed perfect here is a video from where I was standing

I remember the first fish I caught at age eight, a small 1/2 lb bass I caught on a worm while fishing with my dad. I think the real fish that got me started was a 4 lb I caught in my pond on my 12th birthday. I was fishing what you might call a drop shot rig with a live shiner on the hook. All of the sudden my rod fell into the water and when I picked it up I found I had hooked the fish. I ran the half mile back to my house with the fish in my minnow bucket just to show my dad. I haven't stopped after that.

Its just like skipping a rock. Pick a spot right in front of the area you want to hit. How did this topic become a "Save the Youth" campaign? I'm already a sophomore in college working for my bachelors in finance. The only reason I wouldn't switch would be if my line was heaver other than that I'll switch because as a fisherman you listen to the fish and if there telling me they want that swim bait I'm using that swim bait
