My Dad always told me that college doesn't teach you a job, it just makes you trainable for one. If you want a job out of college get internships, grades are a tool that can get people to interview you nothing else. Sure a 4.0 looks good but at the end of the day all it really says about you is that your highly trainable. Text books don't give you skills only real life experience will do that. Oh and be humble, nothing screams "jerk" like a guy who thinks a degree should make all bow before him. Capt.O

I don't watch fishing shows for information any more, I can find much more doing my own research. But I do watch them for entertainment so its ether "The Worlds Greatest Fishing Show" or "Ultimate Match Fishing"

From what I've been reading a lot of pros are flipping a pitching with rods that are 7 ft. I think that any rod that is a 7' H powered is considered a flipping rod? I can't talk for the Vendetta but I love my Bucco rod Capt.O

It depends on the post. If I'm just making a short reply to a question or making a short comment I don't use periods or any other punctuation But if I'm asking a long question then I"ll try to write correctly so that people understand me. There is no excuse for bad spelling when you have spell check!!!

Ok besides the obvious case were there is a already dominate pattern :

Let's be truthful there are many types of swimbaits out there. But it seems that the one's that are winning tournaments are like the ones that are extremely life like and not the simple paddle tail kind like the money minnow. So are the paddle tail kind worth it or are you better off spending $40 on a bait that is almost alive?

I don't know if any one else has notice but 2 of the 3 tournaments on the tour this year have been won on swimbaits. From what I've been reading those guys are using swimbaits to catch big fish to give them an edge. It use to be that a jig was the go to for big fish but it seems that it has been degraded to second place now. Just wondering what you guys think?

That means almost two decades in my case. Those are the kinds of friends you have to keep all your life, they know to much lol
