crookedcreek tackle WHAT A JOKE!!!!!
I saw a post in this forum about two weeks ago about crookedcreek tackle. The post said something like "I tried to get info on the baits and all I got back was info about a pro staff application. Well, I'm supposedly a pro staff member and Virgil (owner) has not return any of my emails or phone calls. I'm guess I'm supposed to get his baits in tackle shops in my area ,but he can't even return an email or phone call. Virgil you are a joke! I see in this forum people write all the time that anglers want something for nothing. This is a case of a tackle owner wanting something for nothing. You will never get a dime from me or anyone I know.

spider line CAMO
This kinda of a piggy back off a post earlier today. I also throw the football head jig on flouro, but was wondering if anybody has used the spider wire braided line called camo. It is supposed to be less likely to be seen by the fish. I'm sure it is not invisible like flouro. I love braided line for flippin in heavy cover, not so much in open water. Anyone use it and have an opinion. Thanks

Pro-staff example
So let me get this straight I have to purchase for at least $65 a tackle pack. Then I can promote thier products. I think this is a great marketing scheme Hell you can't even pick the stuff that you know you can use.

River fishing
I have fished out of a small jon boat in ponds and lakes. I was wondering the best time to fish rivers? what tide? going out or coming in? I will be launching out of Broad Creek in Seaford,Delaware to fish the Nanticoke. I 'm not looking for your hotspots, but are there areas that I should be careful of. Ex stumpfield, low water, that kind of thing. Thanks.

The BRBA competes more for fun and bragging rights than large paychecks. We just completed our first year and are looking for additional members for the next season. The dues are much smaller than other bass organizations. If you are interested please stop by are website at www.geocities.com/bluerockbass or email me at hmwilliamson@comcast.net. Thanks.

what kind of jig
Eakins jigs are what I use. Stay basic in colors watermelon, green gourd, and green gourd with 3 or4 strands of orange for dirty water. I fish a lot of shallow ponds so i stay with 5/16 oz for the most part. I use bigger and/or brighter jigs when the situation calls for it.

What's the best reel for the money?
I have 3 BPS extreme reels and love them. You can't bet the price and performace. I guess if you spend $200 for a reel you are going to get a great reel, but for a guys with a family and kids. They are best for my dollar.

Flippin switch VS. twitchin bar
I do not not buy reels with flipping switches anymore. They are more of a problem then they are worth. I saw were Ardent reels is making a reel just for flippin and pitching with a special drag. I don't now much about it but i 'm sure you can loo it up..

Gambler Stud
I found out they are no longer in production. I talked to Gambler and if you want they will make them for $500 for about 1200 baits. That will go over just fine with the wife

Gambler made a soft plastic jerkbait that was thin in profile and not as bulkly as a fluke style baits. I can not find them anywhere. Does anyone know of the bait and where I may find them to buy. Thans

Crankbaits
For shallow craning, I have found the Storm Sub Wart, Mann's minus 1 on minus 4, and Bomber Square "A". These are the baits I use for the 1 to 4 ft range. I use the bandit 200 and Rapapla DT6 for the 5 to 6 ft range.
