Ouch!
Connecticut was nice enough to more then double the fishing license this year... was only 20 bucks last year and this year its 50 bucks with the salt water license.. It wouldnt bother me as much if the money actually went back into stocking and the fishery but it goes into the states general fund...

battery size
Hey guys and girls I have a question for you.. I baught a 70# minnkota edge trolling motor to put on my 15.5 foot aluminum bass boat.. I am thinking that I would like to run 2 group 24 batteries to try keeping the weight down. My question is would the 24s be enough or would I be better off putting the heavier 27s?? I believe its only around 20 lbs more for the 27s but ive only got a 30 hp outboard and I wanna keep the weight down as much as possible..thanks in advance for the help

Any opinions on Humminbird fishin buddy series?
I was looking at those when i baught my fish finder.. i ended up going with the portable piranah max by humminbird.. its nice cause now that i have a real boat i can just buy a power cord and make up a few mounting brackets and still use it..

quantum tour pt help
I am sure that this info is online somewhere, but I sure cant find it.. I am having trouble getting the sideplate off... I can get the first sideplate off and the spool and also all the handle and drag star.. But I cant for the life of me figure out how to get the second sideplate off.. I have taken out the 2 screws hidden behind the spool and the longer screw over the worm gear.. I clean my quantums regularly with no issues but this has me stumped! Any help would be greatly appreciated cause the season just started and I dont wanna ship it out for cleaning when I usually do it all myself.. And again im sorry if this has been covered before I just couldnt manage to find it

Looking at Seaguar Invizx for baitcasters
from what I have read the invisx has more stretch then the carbon pro.. I like it on my spinning gear because its very supple and doesnt wanna jump off the spool.. But for my BC's this year i just got trilene 100% because it is available just about anywhere..
