what about the colors

one thing to add is tell me if you think i should have gotten like two completely opposite colors of each like sexy shad and firetiger for the fatboys and then baby bass and some other for the dt06

I have never used a crankbait so i got a few to try out, heres what i got so tell me if i should get something different. these would be my shallow cranks: norman lures fat boy - sexy shad and nutter shad - 0 to 4 feet rapala dt06 - baby bass and shad - 0 to 6 feet

reading into a little more i am going to go with the heavy. what do yall think about the reel and line?

do worms like zoom trick worm or finesse worm weigh anything?? the reason being is im looking at a rod that says lure weights from 1/4 to 1 oz and i like using 1/8 oz bullet weights on my t-rigs so dont know if that is suitable for that rod

jigs weight would be 3/8 to 1/2 ... more of the 3/8 though...

why use the ultrasoft?? reading on the website it says that ultrasoft is just the hybrid for spinning reels

Im going play with these at the store tonight but was wondering which yall liked better. I have already felt how incredibl smooth the energy pt was and im gonna compare it tonight to the zillion

well i went to academy and messed around with the quantum pt VI and all i have to say is wow... didnt know a reel could be that smooth... so i belive thats what im going to go with

well im leaning towards the quantums because i like the idea of the centerfugal brake adjusted externally. I had always planed on going with revos but with all the talk on here with how finiky they are im just not sure. Im going to stop at the store and look at the quantums in a little while

ive decided im going to drop abu garcia due to the lack of options on lps... so its between daiwa and quantum ... shimano just a little out of my league and i kinda like going with the non-universal favorites

when a rod tip is referred to as soft is that the same thing as like extra fast... basically what im asking is: is the faster the action the softer the tip?

does this line float or sink ... want to try it but dont know whether to use it for jig/worms/crankbaits/topwater

I have one fishing rod and reel: abu garcia ambassaduer one with the rod it came with at walmart. All together cost me i think 50 dollars two years ago. I have learned a lot about fishing since i got it and am ready to start an arsenal of nicer combos. I dont know what to do about brand though. I see most people on here favor shimano. My question is which brand should i go with since i am just now starting

I bought two booyah boo jigs: black/blue and watermelon/pumpkin. I was gonna use the paca craw as my trailer so i got watermelon/spice and black/blue flake. I have decided to use the paca chunk for my trailer instead since that is what they are made for. The colors of the chunks i figured id get the same as the craws i got. my questions are do u think the colors for the chunks would be good. and the second is should i exchange my craws for two different colors such as alabama craw and one other that i have no clue

wouldnt this fix the problem of braid line visibility

why not just use paca craw for jig trailer
