Dont get me wrong I LOVE fishing grass. but this isnt like your typical coontail or millfoil. Its real stringy you cant really punch down through it because its not hollow underneath the matts. I did catch 1 on a frog but most of it is to thick for the bass to come up through. I did find some stuff that want as thick and thats where i caught the one on the frog

BASS will never do it, the FLW tries to set it up every year. The top FLW pros would destroy the top Bass pros. I think if you put the top 5 from each it would be even but the FLW pros are much deeper than the Elites....This year anyway. With all the loss in FLW sponsership dollars there are quite a few of the big FLW sticks fishing the opens this year and qualifying to fish the Elites next year. Within a few years the Elites really will be Elite!

Hey guys fished Glendale lake today for the first time, I only have a small 5hp engine so getting around is a little tough. I only caught 2 small keepers, the stringy grass is a nightmare! any help would be greatley appreciated!!!

hey guys i was thinking of fishing the northern BASS open events this year. Do they have a non boater division? if so can you qualify for the classic at these? if so what do you need to do to qualify?

hey guys, this will be my first year fishing tourneys again since 1993! Allot has past me by in that time but am going to try to learn as much as possible before the first tourney on the patomic. Any of you guys on here fishing as a boater and need a partner? If i dont find a boater will I still be guarenteed to fish the tourney? Sorry for being so green im just trying to get a feel for how the flw tourneys work. You will see lots of posts from me in the upcoming monthes. Briads or mono? swim baits or spinner baits? I feel like I have been out of the sport forever!

Hula poper is pretty simple you can fish it fast or slow, my best results came when chugging it and letting it rest for a second or two. My favorite topwater is a zara spook walking the dog is my favorite way to cover lots of water and draw a big bass up from the dephs!
