When to use a 10 inch worm
The conditions I would fish a big worm is for place I think will hold big bass. Creek channels, points, creek, rock piles, flats, and even the main channel. Summertime is near and that 10inch worm is right behind it. ;D

Ponds vs. Lakes
The ponds and lakes in NC do differ but not by much, usually the lakes just have the factor of having more points,drop-offs,ledges,and other structure that you cannot find in ponds. Ponds on the other hand can be fished just like a lake it depends on water clarity and types of structure.

State VS State - Season 2
So the fish has to be bigger than the state record or what? If not how big does the fish need to be possibly with your state regulations right?

Buzzbait during spring works!
Nope just casually hit it. And yes a slow retrive.

Buzzbait during spring works!
what brand of buzz? nice fish btw BOOYAH...nice and slow over a bed...one factor that was in his favor was the murkey water.

Buzzbait during spring works!
The pic is my buddy. We fished a reservoir opening weekend, he had told me about the conditions that we've had, and expected 8-10 mph winds so we started out at 7am on the reservoir and man it was murky....I had this article from bassmasters that was about fishing buzzbaits in the spring so I asked him if he wanted to give it a whirl. We started out on the flat beside some rip-rap and we were in about 2-3ft of water perfect staging area for a spawning bass. He throw it out second cast and then he took about a 4 pounder and got him up to the boat, came off :-/ yeah it sucked so I then asked him if he wanted to fish a creek channel that turned into a deep cove, as soon as I told him to go farther back he casted the buzzbait out beside a stump sticking out....and bam the fish hit and not like a champ either she just gradually came up and hit it....I knew she was big because when all but her body came out I knew then she was a beast. The color he used was charturse, the conditions weren't so great so we used common since and got off the main lake and went into protected coves and creeks that produced some decent fishing.

Fish brush piles planted by locals?
So what your are implying to wood would be structure? Either way I see it wood is cover and cover can be any type of structure....this topic is all about opinion if you ask me. You can tell, most of the time when a brush pile is man made, now I said most because sometimes the brush is to deep to tell or the water is to cloudy or stained. Usually when the good ole drought comes through I go out on certain lakes and study the topographical region. Take the information from where I have seen the homemade brush piles usually tied to a cinder-block, and yes when the water fills back up I do fish them, it's just another great spot to catch a nice bass. Then again it may be illegal to produce brush piles, you'd definitely have to check with the local game warden.

Don't really know much about camping...but I do know where it's at I live about 45 min away give or take ....it's a heated lake run by a power plant, lake doesn't produce many monsters, but it's a decent place to fish.

Night Fishing Favorite Bait
What color of Rattletrap do you normally use? I know its normally a dark color for night, but would a chrome blue work? I would go with, it would work on a full moon beacuse of the light off the moons reflection, but to be honest with you the reason that the rat-l-trap works so well is the vibration the bass sense from the lure, so it really doesn't matter on a dark night.

Night Fishing Favorite Bait
Pop-R, Buzzbait, Black spinnerbait with nickel colorado blades.

bedding fish
Depends on water clarity and the position of the sun so the eggs will get the proper incubation.
-
Fishing Flukes
I fish all the major lakes in NC also a reservoir near my house that produces 10lbders like its goin out of style that usually where u can find me...lol if im not on my ship.
-
Fishing Flukes
it depends on what kind of line it is and the weight test......def use lighter line with the fluke 8-10lbs max you can cast it into the moon and trust me thats what you wanna do with this bait it's all about presentation!

spring fishing from shore.
If the water is clear you're gonna have a hard time...honestly espcially during the spring you will spoke a fish more easily in spring than in summer.....I suggeset natural clothing or camo and from shore I would def go with a finesse lure or texas rigged soft plastic into cover.
