Let's Talk Roadbeds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love to fish roadbeds especially in the summer, it's one of my go to spots when I am ready to cast out a carolina-rig. Plus the ditches can pretty much always hold a really nice bass.

How would you fish this scenario?
Top Water first, like a buzz bait not to slow or fast....then to the spinner bait and I would fish it the same way as the top water bait. Crank bait preferably a lip-less and the color would have to be red craw. Then I would go to a 1/4 once jig blue/black and work the rocks really good. Good Luck.

what to use in muddy water?
Any lure with vibration: Spinner bait preferibly the colorado or tandam blades, buzzbait, lipless crankbait, and a jig with rattle. I use natural colors year round in muddy waters also.

how long till bass naturally inhabit a man made pond?
You have to get your state wildlife fisheries involved to stock the pond with different sized bass and other bait fish so that the pond will fulfill the right diet for the bass to grow into big healthy fish.

Hijacked? NOT!
:-/ :-/Yeah I appreciate all you guys commending our navy, but we still have conflicts in Somalia that need to be dealt with other wise it will be a daily or weekly occurrence. As you know they hijacked 3 more boats ( not the U.S.) last night, so I make my statement true about it happening over and over, that's why we need other countries to help fight these pirates, as you saw on T.V. you mess with us and threatin our citizens or our navy and you will pay the ultimate price!

Hijacked? NOT!
Yeah we took good care of them pirates! Saddly it will happen over and over.

Falls of the Neuse/ Wakeforest/Raleigh/Durham
Falls is great it's not much like those lakes you were asking about cause there isn't much vegitation....but structure wise, man its great!
-
Tried dropshotting from shore today, yeah doesn't work so good.
I'd try heavier weight and make sure you drop shot rig is set up the way it's supposed to be. Useually you do want to be vertical but it will still work from shore.

Lake Gaston Question
Clear lake so you should def look for beds in the pre spawn locations and flats...I would use a lot of natural colors: watermelon seed, pumpkin seed, and def the red and blues. Lots of grass too, and boat docks. Good luck!
