gravel road
I'm going to be moving in about 2 weeks or so to a house that my girlfriend and I are renting. Good news is the rent is really cheap and its out in the country. Bad news is that its on a gravel road. I have a 20' G3 that is about 5 years old and in good shape. Is there anything I can do (other than drive slowly, obviously) that can help protect it? It's only about a half of a mile. Thanks.

Oil and Gear Lube
I have a Yamaha VMAXX 200 and I was trying to get stuff ready for this fishing season. Is it important that I use Yamalube for the gear lube and Yamaha oil for the motor? A friend told me the oil doesnt matter, but the gear lube does. Then another person told me the exact opposite. I want to save some money, but don't want to end up buying a new motor after not using the correct stuff. Suggestions?

Mounting a Humminbird 565...
I just bought a new Humminbird 565 for my '04 G3 HP200. I was reading about how important it is to install it correctly to make sure that it works well at higher speeds (40 - 55 mph). I have a plate on the transom to mount it on, but I was wondering if anyone had any pointers on installing it to make it work well.

livewell...
I used this method for a livewell for several years.....my advice is to get a bottle of catch and release from bps. its amazing how much healthier the fish are at weigh-in after being in the cooler all day
