Giving out ticket's for "power loading" in wisconsin now
I understand what you are saying tommy but for me I would rather give my bass boat a little throttle and ease it up then hook the winch and put that much strain on the fiberglass. My boat is a 99 procraft and with her age I take many precautions. I also have a tracker grizzly that I have no problem cranking up. It is much lighter and easier to work with. I understand that if people are doing this to show off but for me with the ramps I use I load with the motor. I never stomp it just enough gas to get me up.....Just my 2 cents.....

Giving out ticket's for "power loading" in wisconsin now
I have always backed the trailer in deep enough to wet the bunks then pulled up so that the boat will center. Then just give it a little throttle and all is done. For me the deeper the trailer the more problems I will have. I have witnessed some disasters.

Lake Gaston?
My usual pattern had been topwater in the morning over stumps. Then I skipp docks....The farther you get it up under the dock usually the better...We fish Pea Hill most of the time... Good Luck

What's the "funniest" thing you have seen at a boat launch!
A friend and myself watched a foreign couple back there old boat into the water with a big old A-Team van.....they stop once the boat and trailer are backed into the water...the couple get out of the van walk around the van and PULL the pin on the hitch and the boat and trailer go in....if you could have seen there face when the boat and trailer rolled slowly into the water....i think i wet myself i was laughing so hard.... ;D

Posting a Picture....
I have posted numerous pictures without a problem but when I tried to post a pic of the bass I caught a sandy river it keeps telling me to go through the browse window and do it again for security purposes. It just keeps telling me that over and over. I have tried from my home computer and my computer at work with no luck...Anyone heard of this... Thanks Doug

Any info on Chesdin?
I don't believe they have rentals....I was talking about logs and debri with the term floaters....If you put in there fish around the island on your left when you are going out of whippernock....

Any info on Chesdin?
The water is a little high....muddy towards the dam...some floaters still in the water....I haven't heard of anyone doing much lately....Whippernock marina is public and you do not have to camp to launch...the fee is 7 or 10 bucks I believe....not sure on water temp.....I have not been there in a couple months....good luck

Advice For Boat....
I would like to know what everyone uses to wipe there boats down after they have gone fishing.....I have been just wiping the procraft down with a damp rag to get the scum line but I saw someone the other day using a bottle of something....So I thought I would just ask.... Thanks......

Briery Creek and HP limit
I like the 10hp restriction on briery and sandy....Its bad enough with the 9.9 motor and all those stumps but I would love to see some guys with larger motors play bumper cars all day....Basically get a 9.9 motor or call someone who has one!!!!!!! :'(

Are swimbaits a joke to throw in NOVA?
I love throwing the swimbaits....I'm not throwing the monster baits.... i like the optimum 7 inch line thru baits...if you catch it right you can have an outstanding day on briery creek with the swimbait...

Richmond Fishing Expo - in 2 weeks!
I second that about knowing what they are talking about. I like it when you ask someone about a product they can tell you where it is, whether they have it, and some info on it. Bass Pro has a good fishing selection but so far the people I talk to in the store have no clue on there products...

who is fishing where 12.14-12-20??? (nova)
I tried building a pond (5 acre) on my farm and it was like pulling teeth....You have to get the core of engineers on your property to tell you if you can...They look for wetland areas and let me tell you its not the wetlands I was thinking of....If they see a water puddle its over....They have the most restrictions you will ever find...It will run you around 1500 dollars to get them out there and let you know...It was just to much money for me to build a pond....You can destroy wetlands as long as you buy it back and that is EXSPENSIVE!!!!! Hope you can do better....People have told me that I should have gone the route of telling them that it was an agricultural pond and not recreation....Hope this helps...

Nice bass on lake gaston....
It was freezing....37 degrees wind at 10-15 out of north and raining......It was worth it......
