Jeff, that's genius!! What knot do you tie the two lines together?

When spooling a reel with high quality fluorocarbon, do you use the same size line as a backing? How much fluorocarbon would you advise to put on a 200 series Shimano?

Just picked up a Chronarch 200 E7 for under $200! Looking for a nice rod to pair her up with. Gonna use it mainly for plastics. Trying to keep the price below $250. Any ideas?

Is the $70 difference in price worth it? I am looking for a do it all reel. Plastics mainly but also spinner baits and lipless cranks. Would like input before the trigger is pulled. Don't throw anything over 3/4 oz.
