  1. I agree X-Points are AWESOME hooks and right there with Owner, I fished them for a while years ago but now I cant find them anywhere and you can only order them from Blakemores web site and I just would rather fish owner because there IMHO the best hooks and easy to find. cost a little more then the others but worth it.. Im sure I have some Owner hooks I use to fish Flukes (Flappin shads) and I know some of those hooks have over 50 fish on them and still sticky sharp...

I fish NOTHING but Owner Cutting point hooks... I dont have a hook that isnt Owners from my Plugs to Plastics only Owner!!!!!!!!
  3. I agree with this.
  4. Mine has to me a SR5 Shad rap black back silver belly. or a White chrome gold blades T-1 spinner bait or gray ghost baby 1-
  5. I couldnt even count how many Chain prickle ive caught on them....
  6. I have three Megabass Pop X Daiwa TD popper zero and LC G-Splash
  7. one thing tho, some times you do get a bait thats got small scratchs on it.. So I agree with the other post on here the bait you see in the pic isnt the bait you get... but like i said ive always been happy and never felt I was screwed at 6 bucks a pop there a good deal... and as the other said some times the pointers wont suspend they raise slowly not all of them ide say 1 out of 3 dont suspend and I dont make a big fuss over that.
  8. Not the same and the pictures could be real but not the bait. The Chinese can knock off anything and that is what happened here. I have a couple and they do not suspend like the real deal but if you can get one for $6 they are not a bad bait. Allen
  9. I wish i could buy shiners for .12 cent... down here in FLA you cant find even small shiners for less then 8 bucks a dozen... large 12 bucks a dozen and large wild golden shiners can be as much as 3 bucks a pop....
  10. can you give a item number and let me see is it the same thing I bought? and ill let you know
  11. any one ever fished it and if so what you think about it? and what are you using to fish it? rod, reel and line?
  12. Thanks RangerJoe. Since I have 2 spools for the spinning reels should I load them up with some heavier line? or maybe some braid? Also, on your baitcaster comment, how much different will the 15lb BG handle than the 50lb Powerpro I had on there last season? I had no issues with the PP and think I got the hang of using the baitcaster. Speaking of that, what types of baits would you suggest I throw with the BC? The spinning gear I have is more suited to the lighter plastics (I think :). It sure would be nice to catch a fish on the BC this year!!! ;D Some people will agree and some wont but I believe Braided line casts better on bait casters. but you will do just fine with mono and it will seem to cast smoother.. but braid dont back lash much... I cant remember the last time I had a backlash while fishing braid a small over run here and there but thats it.
  13. oh i want one of these. i just cant justify the price over a Daiwa Sol. use a Pixy one time and you will be able to justify the price with ease
  14. She needs to be at least as hot as my bass boat lol
  15. whats every ones fav? the revo option is for all of the models like the S, STX and so on All daiwas get my vote... but I gotta say out of them all I love my TD-Z's and TD-ITOS
  16. you are 100000000000000% right and thats a lot of %'s
  17. I agree stay away from ugly sticks there not bass fishing rods there rods for people who dont care about there rods as they are so whippy you almost cant break one lol.
  18. Raul is right about those spools even the ITO spool isnt going to give you much. if you want a spool that will really give you something contact Office ZPI and pick up one of there shallow MG spools. if you dont have ceramic bearings on your spool that will give you pretty big free spool gains and be A LOT cheaper then a new spool.
  19. buy you a Zillion and you will be glad you did. Zillion = LAMBO thats built like a tank.
  20. I wouldnt buy an ugly Bass boat nor would I buy a ugly rod and reel setup.....
  21. the rod is a little heavy but you will love it still, SOL=great crankin reel and will cast the lightest of light cranks with ease.
  22. The Viento with its twitchin bar is a neat concept however its just a new idea daiwa brought to the table when it first came out.. I thought it would be cool and bought one when they first came out... I fished with it a few times and liked the reel its self pretty good it was typical high end Daiwa (Silky smooth, super quality, solid gearing and awesome casting) but what I didnt like about it was the twitchin bar it made it hard to palm and I never used the bar but for the first time I fished it just because it was something new. If you want one I got one thats not got a scratch on it fished all of maybe 2 hours then took the line off it and put it in the box. 110.00 shipped to you. now out of your choices the Viento is the reel I would say will cast the best out of your choices, and if you like the idea of the twitchin bar its the reel you should get... the HSTA will cast awesome to its rock solid and they fish VERY well for the price range there in.. they even throw light baits pretty well. anyhow if you want a Viento I got a almost new one thats got your name on it at a price that you wont beat.
  23. Daiwa SOL and if you want the best there is Daiwa Pixy or TD-Z 103(5)
