  1. The glory bag is made of a rubber mesh so it doesn't rub anything off of the fish. I have looked at the other bags and they aren't even close.
  2. Google glory bags or it is just glorybags.com.
  3. What is everyone using to help them with culling? I have used the tags, weighing each fish on a scale and then tagging them, cull bars, and just recently started using Glory bags. I got the bags after I almost lost a tourny on the Ohio river when I had two fish jump out the well, I got lucky and both stayed in the boat, but it did get me thinking and looking around. There are several things I like about the bags: I can open the well and not worry about fish jumping out. I don't have to grab the fish, makes it quick and easy when you want to get a fish out. The fish stay calm as can be, no thrashing in the well. When it is time to cull you just grab 2 bags and hang them on the cull bar. Fish also seem to thrash less during this so it is faster. Makes cleaning the well afterwards fast, no shad or crawdads floating around or clogging anything up. So have any of you tried these? I know I thought they were a gimic at first but they seem to work really well, so far. I have had fish up to 5 lbs. in the bags with no problems.
  4. I have two carrot stix both 7'3"MH LTX's and they are an alright rod. I like the guides, unlike many people who want fujis, I think fujis are overrated and have has tons of problems with the inserts popping out. As far as carrot stix sucking, they are an ok rod. I broke one of mine first trip out and had to work a little harder than I would like to replace the rod. Retailer I bought it from was out and said they wouldn't get another shipment in for a while so I contacted carrot stix directly and got told tough luck ship it to us and we will replace it. I wouldn't have a problem with this if it hadn't broken as quick as it did (I didn't feel that the rod that hadn't proven anything to me should cost me more money when it broke so quickly). As far as sensativity they are ok, but there are much better rods. If I were to do it all over again I think I would spend a hair more and get a couple of St. Croix avids or a little less and get a couple of Daiwa Light and Toughs (Best rod below $150 IMO). It's all personal preference, so everyone is going to have a different opinion. There are much worse rods in the 150 range and there are better rods IMO.
  5. I see a few good replies on the subject of the warranty with carrot stix, but I have had nothing but problems. I purchased two of the 7'3" MH LTX sticks and had one break in the first hour using it right in the middle of the rod on a hook set. Well I don't have any dealers in my area as of right now so I contacted E21 and got no responset. I got on here and found this thread figured I would contact Sean and he told me that I will have to pay to have a rod replaced that broke in the first hour of using it. This now makes a rod that seemed like a good deal not. I have no confidence in it one bit as it broke right off the bat and now I am supposed to ship it back to the place I got it and wait. What if the next one breaks the same? I guess I will just ahve to keep shipping them back to the place I bought it and watch the cost rack up. Rod felt good the little bit I got to use it, but I think that I will stick with my St. Croixs and Kistlers as they have had far better customer support from my experience.
