What Is The Best Hooks For Cranks And Treble Baits?
You can get a lot of VMC roundbend/fairly wide gap trebles for $2-3. I have had no problems with the hooks. They are strong and sharp, held their point pretty good for me all season. Otherwise trebles at $6 for 4 of em can get expensive!

Sufix 832 Superline????
I've never had an issue detecting bites or moving line on a hook set with braided line, regardless if it sinks or floats...it is innovative tho! I normally fish power pro or tuf-line when spooling in large quantities. Some of the guys in the business on the bass team are not fans of the line so i haven't tried it...but the guys on the bass team that run a fishing tackle distribution company was saying they didn't like the product. Anyways, best to give it a try when it is on sale and see what you think! I feel like your normal suffix braid will be just fine for continued use.

Vicious Versus Vicious Elite
I find all flouro is like that...couldn't be my fault haha. I switched to a San Diego Jam knot and I have better flouro knots but I will be careful with my knots on VIcious, thanks for the heads up. I wonder if the Elite is any better?

Vicious Versus Vicious Elite
Thanks guys for your input, much appreciated. Good to know about the strength. I can put up with the memory as long as I don't loose any fish on line failure...I hate that....That's when the jig rod with braid gets picked up haha.

Lightweight, Durable, Baitcast Rods Under $50?
I purchased a daiwa procyon rod for $50 bones. I thouhgt for the price it was a great rod, so I got 2 now haha. I use one for a worm rod and one for a frog rod (both MH 7'0). They are a bit tip heavy but what rod isn't for $50. I was crushing the hooksets on buried fish with 50# braid and the procyon held up great all season and in perfect condition for year 2.

Which Reel For Jigs
I flip/pitch with a curado e7. Never had a problem with it for that technique. Drag power is solid even with braid and a heavy stick. Easy handling, can skip or pitch lighter lures smoothly (no problems with backlashes like pitching with a cheap reel) However, I have never tried the zillion reels.

Vicious Versus Vicious Elite
I was going to buy some bulk Vicious Flourocarbon.... I can get 800 yards of 20# of the base flouro OR for about the same price.... I can get 500 yards of 20# of the elite flouro I typically lean towards the higher quality but with fishing being as expensive as it is I was wondering if I could get away with the basic Vicious. Anyone with experience using both versions can give a quick analysis between these two lines? Thanks in advance... for not telling me to switch to Berkley or Seaguar hahaha Thanks guys

Suggestions For Shallow Lake
I could picture myself approaching this like by pitching a jig as I kept the trolling motor hot. As for the snags, although fishing fast be gentle with the jig so you don't snag it on wood, developing that touch will be helpful. As for rocks jigs come thru decent...if not troll the boat to the other side and the jig should come out (if there's a way in there's a way out haha). If the bank is in the way then a plug knocker or slingshot it out...and if that fails just buy another jig haha

Favorite Worm To Drop Shot
I have had some good success with the Strike King Elaztech 4" worm...I forget the actual name to it. It floats and has nice action. Gambler Giggy Stick is a 5" floating worm and I like that to.
-
Type Of Line For Jigs
20# flouro or 50-65# braid depending on the cover Braid in the grass Flouro I throw in pads or reeds. Often I just throw braid b/c it is awesome.
-
Braided Line
I don't find braid is as susceptible I know flouro and mono will crack if kinked, braid I don't think will crack. Often I will tug on the braid where it got kinked and I will never know where it happened...good luck doing that with flouro!

Jig ?
Looks great to me, the thicker skirt adds some beef to it! I'd fish your jig! I'd put a rattle in it...just normally have them and why change it if it works haha

Favorite Ribbon Tail Worm?
I fish a Zoom Mag II, it's a smaller 9.5" "big worm" when I want a smaller profile I fish a 10" Gambler which is when I want a bigger profile. Its a bit more slender than the Power Worm but longer. I have some Power Worms always somewhere in my worm bag, they always work

Anyone Ever Try Fishing A Frog Like A Plastic Worm?
Sometimes when I deadstick a buzz frog and it sink, I hop it off the bottom, I catch a fish or two. More fish while buzzing it tho. Definitely more fish fishing a worm like a worm Not sure about the rods. I used to flip with a musky rod tho

Zoom Z-Hog
I like the look and feel of them, I'm sure the action is great. But they are $7 at Bass Pro in Canada! I flip through way too many lures at that price! So I fish the Zoom Craws a lot. Going to try Berkleys havoc craw this year, the price is right

Sweet Beavers
I pitch/flip them on my heavy stick or trailer them on a jig with my jig rod But I like some of the out-of-the-box ideas!

Good Creature/craw Baits For Pressured Lakes
You mentioned if super hogs are any good in open water I usually pitch them to cover and shallow structure. But I bet it would be nice on a C-rig in deeper water to Or fished in deeper weeds no problem. If there is no structure around (truly open water) I'd stick to something faster like a crank or football jig...but then we are dealing with the pressure issue haha so maybe a spoon?? I understand everyone's point about the secret bait thing. I tried to read the rest of you question and answer the rest.

Stinky Worms!
