  1. 20# FC or 65# braid depending what lake/cover I'm fishing Maxima/power pro I break all leaders...never again
  2. Crazy! But can't deny it works! The only way to step it up from that is to attach a Hydrowave to the umbrella rig...
  3. Thanks guys, I fish it a bit but not nearly as much as I should b/c I switch to a deeper diving crank after the spawn....But based on your advice I better get on that train! Thanks for the tips!
  4. I have a fenwick rod that I use for spinnerbaits and one for worms.....I'm very happy with them

I use this method to...I think it works great Although hooksets are free you look like a spaz if you set the hook on every leaf of vegetation your jig brushes by hahaaha
  6. I mainly use strike king KVD's or the Strike King 4S But I don't have enough selection up here to try more..but i've put fish in the boat with the strike king.
  7. sorry I forgot I use Kalin 5" grubs...i like them
  8. I regularly fish them as swim jig trailers. I'll also fish them for smallies. I keep it simple and rig it on a 1/8 or 1/4oz bass pro jig head. I have had luck with white, green, and sometimes smallies just hunt for something chartreuse. The senko has taken over grubs for me most the time tho.
  9. Cool, I will, thanks!
  10. Cool thanks JHoffman I appreciate the direction
  11. 29" Draw length 60# weight Thanks!
  12. haha well said
  13. Hi guys, Just got an entry level bow (PSE 3G STINGER) to see if I like bowhunting better...I have a feeling I'm hooked already. I was looking for some suggestions on arrow/broadhead selection for: 1. Turkey 2. Deer Thanks a ton guys!
  14. thats cool man! The suspense will give you something to look forward to next time your out!
  15. hahaha With that wrap the Minnesota Vikings would be asking to rent your boat for a weekend. You guys are more creative than me!
  16. Based on you favorite tackle who would be your top 5 dream sponsors?? My picks: 1.Abu Garcia 2. Shimano 3. Zoom 4. Berkley 5. Strike King (they have terminal tackle to!)
  17. I've fished both 50 and 65. I like both just fine but 65 is going to stay on my reel this year. It won by a hair.
  18. I know each rod brand will have a different feel for their specific rating I typically like a MH b/c it has some back bone to pull bass out of the grass but I want a rod with some tip to it which will help you cast the lighter weights and feel the lighter bait. Thats my requirements Edit: I forgot...I like a 7' rod. It isn't too long or too short.
  19. I use 65# braid for flipping a Trig 12# yo zuri hybrid on my Trig worm rod 15# braid on my spinning reel for my Trig trick worm or senko
  20. I will throw 1/8oz if the water is up to 5' If it gets deeper like 10' I'll go up to a 1/4. I used to fish really heavy b/c I liked the contact/feel it gave me. But I lightened it up this year and swam my T-rigs a bit more...upped my bass big time. I got outfished on docks in tournaments when my co-angler was throwing a weightless senko and I was throwing a 3/8-1/2oz jig. Could be the lure, could be the presentation

I throw Kalin 4 (or 5" I can't remember) grub as a trailer I love swim jigs...I don't use them as much as i should tho. If there is any chop on the water I switch to a chatterbait or spinnerbait but I should remember to get back to the swim jig more often!
  22. Thats awesome man...my season doesn't start until after the real good lipless crankbait bite so I never got too into them...but maybe I should try the yo yo technique in the deep weeds this summer. I love lures that you can fish fast, cover water, and get bites!
  23. just make sure it has some tip to it. I like a rod that will have a real forgiving tip that blends into a solid back bone Its tough handling a crank on a broomstick
  24. Maybe I've made the perfect cast and sent it out 50 yards with the wind at my back and all conditions perfect. I bet typically my casting distance is 30 something yards
