  1. I have let a few words slip as well as my fair share of punching seats. but for some reason it's only when money is on the line. It brings out the the best of ya.
  2. keep going at it SWH. also try new lures. find out what your good at and grow confidence in that style of fishing.
  3. I dont think its an act. I get emotional when fishing. A tourny last monday i had 2 big keepers on and they snapped my line i through my rod in the bottom of the boat because i was that upset and punched the pro seat. Any time i hook and land a big one i get all excited high 5'ing every one in the boat. I feel once you loose that excitement of catching fish (even small ones) or the sence of a chalenge its time to quit.
  4. Sunday we had our family reunion at a local park. Well after we were done eating we were sitting around and just catching up. A guy from the park came around and said there was a little girl missing (she was 5). I had just got off work and had long pants in the truck and was going to put them on and go look around in the woods. Well i got done putting them on and i saw people running and gatering in an area. I walked over there to find they had pulled her body out of the lake that was there. She had been missing for over a half hour. (they found she was missing during swim break). She was already black, blue and purple. They tried to revive her but no luck. Need less to say the 5 year old girl had passed away. Seeing her limp body laying there was just disterbing. She was with a larger group. Including her 4 brothers This is just a reminder always keep track of your kids. It only takes a split second for tragedy to take place. http://www.ohio.com/news/49485477.html keep this family in your thoughts
  5. X2 very funny but very messed up. we used to watch it once a week at college.
  6. The Strangers. its based on true events as they know it. It is one messed up movie about 3 people killing a couple just because thats the house they chose and they were home.
  7. Great movie
  8. My buddie and i decided we wanted to go to lake Chautaqua for both us graduating College. (3 hours from home) this turned out to be the trip from H&!! Got home from college thursday night and started loading stuff up for the trip. Load every thing up and wouldnt you have it. I have 2 tackle bags missing out of my garage, (had one stolen earlier at College one of the ones that was stolen was the one i replaced it with) (worth $400 in soft plastics) one fishing pole ($70) and a battery tender($40). Just great!!! So we leave at 4:30 am for New York.We arived at the campground to find no one was around to check us in we had to wait 2 hours to get checked in. Take the boat out that night. It was running a little rough and died. kept trying to start it and eventually ran the battery dead (fuel line was loose). We got towed back by a pontoon boat over a mile. Very embarrassing. But wait there is more. We go out saturday morning bright and early on the water by 6 nothing is biting so by 11 we go to our last spot before lunch. While there a big wave hits us. my buddie looses his balence and drops his rod and reel in the water ($160) But it still gets better!!! We decided to come back in. we noticed the mortor had been cutting out and wasnt going up on plane like it should. We started to hear a clanking noise comeing from the motor. Well the lower unit decides to go out on us. ($2700) And come to think it about it 5 years ago next week we had a faimly trip up there where the whole entire wheel came off of our Ram on our way up there on I-90. NEW YORK HATES ME!!!!
  9. A couple buddies and i went up to one of their parents cottage for his 21st birthday. We left the dock at 5am in 3-4 footers it was kinda rough going out. The water was really muddy so it was a tough bite. We had a really good captin we got 14 fish in 8 hours. We found out later that we were top boat on the lake (In that area) day the closest boat to us was at 3 eyes for the day. 2 nights before we had 31 cats betweeen 5 of us in 2 hours. Had a great time though.

  14. 2 blonds we fishing from the shores of Lake Erie. As the day progressed a Game Warden pulls up to them. He askes them "can I see your fishing license please?" The 2 blonds reply "We dont have a fishing licinse." The Game Warden says "Well im sorry ladies but I'm going to have to write you both a ticket for fishing without a license" The 2 blonds fire back "but were not fishing." as the both bring their rigs in. Much to the Game Wardens amazement there were magnents tied to the end of their lines. Compleatly baffeled the Game Warden drove away. Once the Game Warden was out of sight the one blond starts laughing and says to the other "What an idiot couldnt he tell we were fishing for Steelhead"

  16. Well it depends on the season Spring/Summer 1 Fishing 2 Trapping 3 Hunting Fall/Winter 1 Trapping 2 Hunting 3 Fishing
  17. I beleive it has a lot to do with it. I will try something new for a few min but i seem to always go back to what always seems to catch fish for me. If im fishing with stuff that i dont have confidence in it seems like i cant catch fish. I guess this goes back to the old saying "Dont fix it if it aint broke"
  18. I found some casting and ripping rattle traps on weed beds also had a few hits on a torpedo. over schools of bait fish
  19. Well a friend and i went to fish a new lake about an hour away from home. This was after i got off work at 3:30 We get to the launch ramp around 5:00 and hit the trim up to get the motor support bar off. Nothing!!! check all the things that are connected to the starter battery. Nothing!!! :'(So we come to the conclusion that my battery is dead. What to do next? Drive around for the next hour and a half looking for a place to get a battery. No marine dealers open. We ended up finding an Advanced Auto that had one. $80 later finaly got that instaled. Back at ramp around 6:30 with every thing working Bad night Huh? But wait there is more Start fishing. nothing was biteing. well we decided to fish till dark. Well its time to get the lights out. Put them in. Nothing!!! :'( so our night gets cut short :'( But wait there is more!!! Get home around 10:30. Plug the bank charger in to charge the little bit of battery that was used so i can go out tomarow. Guess what wasnt working??? The bank charger!!! Over comeing that and the abnormal amount of backlashes we managed one fish.
