  7. I mostly fish portage lakes. But my Mom dad and I go to salt fork every summer for a few days. I dont have much luck there lol. Tappen is really starting to grow on me. Try throwing a DT4 dround the rip rap along 250. A buddie and i were fishing out of my boat 2 weekends ago. Landed some fish on them biggest was around 3 lbs. Also try fishing some green pumpkin or pumpkinseed tubes along the rip rap also.

  11. your right you need to start catching bigger bass. here is a dink i caught. Not to steal your post or any thing. Nice fish by the way keep it up
  12. I would venture a guess and say stunted pop. One way to tell is if the eye of the bass looks big in proportion to the size of the fish. the eye of a fish will continue to grow even if the body stops growing. (learned this in my fish management 1 class at college) big eye+small body= stunted population
  13. Deffinatly not cool to drink and drive. I can understand drinking a few but if your buzzed it aint worth the risk of hurting yourself or an inocent person.
  14. This Ohio boy wants to give it a go. I'm in. Not sure how much fishing will get done since im in college but friendly challenges are always fun.

  18. I never thought of that chris. i could see where it would work though. is there at any point in time where you should sit in deep water and cast shallow?
  19. Out of the stuff cajun line seems to be strong stuff thats why i use it. The only time i use braid is when i am flipping or pitching. it doesnt seem to work for anything else around me.
  20. I normly use cajun line. but i switched over to some p-line fluorocarbon for when i went south and fished some clearer water. i seem to be getting more bites now since the switch. What colors do yall prefer for different water clearities? is there ever a good time to switch over to red line?
  21. shakey head. with a pumpkin seed finess worm. around docks. it was sunny and they were sitting on the shadey side of the dock. also caught a few on huskey jerks right around fallen trees

  23. I've always been about power to.
  24. I have had it happen before. and i had it happen today. What do yall do when a fish picks up a worm and swims towards ya? I feel if you set the hook hard you may rip the hook out of the mouth. do you wait for the fish to turn it may swollow it. This is just some food for thought I just reel down and set the hook.
