my guess is that you'll have fish running the entire length of the pier in the morning. I wouldn't spend too much time though near shore unless you're bangin them. Good luck.

In between boats, but I would disagree in that non boaters can provide good knowledge. I started off by saying, Man, you must not want to catch any fish... He did not, but I tell you he sure stuck to his plan... I managed to catch a couple early top water, the next 6 hours were painfully long though. You could cut the tension with a knife. That's just a disrepectful comment.

Its really hard to 'like' a team that could've won multiple Championships if they had just had some sign of a pulse on offense over the past decade. Instead, they let the Steelers/Colts/Patriots steal the show. It was definitely there for the Ravens taking, they just refused to grab it. You cant have a defense that holds opponents to 10 or less every game and an offense that cant even get in position to kick 3 field goals in 60 minutes time. Sad. RAVENS ALL THE WAY BABY We got more than just a pulse on offense. Flacco to Boldin, Stallworth, Mason, Clayton and uhoh whos that coming out of the back looking for the dump off, but Ray Rice. We are unstoppable this year. 13 and 3 maybe 2 ;D

the lures you mentioned using are all small and you caught 6 dinks. Try upsizing your lures. And don't worry about water temps in the 80's, that's not that hot and won't drive the fish deeper.

don't be seen and use flouro.

what you did wrong, was stick with a pattern that wasn't working for 8 hours. Don't be affraid to try different types of lures.

it's just a stupid superstition. I always make my first cast short and pull it out quickly so theres no chance of catching a fish, and then giving credence to the superstition if I don't catch anything the rest of the day.

since its a gun involved and you're out of time to mess with this situation, definately get the police involved.

yes it does help. You have to rub your bait through the hair. Just be careful not to hook yourself.

most of the time I'm pegged. Always peg when fishing heavy vegetation. I will remove the peg when the bite is slow.

After the initial shopping spree in late winter when I spend maybe a hundred or two on lures thats about it for the season. Maybe fifty dollars here and there on restocking soft plastics or a new lure.

wouldn't hurt to try flouro, and I think it would help since its a high pressured area.

just think about the karma and how one of those new baits he got just sunk a hook into his hand. That'll make you feel better.

I think its a natural reaction for the fish. I've had it happen numerous times when the hook is just starting to go down the throat.

I would be a little concerned with kinking the line which would cause a weak spot.

don't overthink your color selections. Keep it simple. I look at it like this, if visibility is low, I chooose a color thats gonna stand out and if visibilty is high go with natural colors like green or pumpkin on soft plastics and natural baitfish patterns for other lures.
