Where will Lebron end up?
Why would he actually stay there though. Sure, he can make some good money, and yet again be stuck on a crap team. Without Lebron, Cleveland would be lucky to win 15 games.

Wade and Bosh to the Heat
Well, we'll know the chance of that tonight. It all hinges on how Bosh comes to the heat. Whether it's a free agency acquisition, or a sign and trade involving Beasley. Gotta have that extra couple of mill from Beasley's contract to pick up James. In Riley We Trust!

A boat, or a new rod and reel?
No question about it, buy a boat.

Structure tips.
Take Catt's advice. He's the local guru of structure fishing. I've learned a bunch reading his posts. The only thing I can offer is this: once you find the fish, use a reference point as to where to make your casts. Sometimes having that one specific angle can make a world of difference. I like using marker buoy's along with some kind of shoreline reference so I can make that same cast repeated times.

What your favorite, go 2 Peacock bass lure?
Charlie, it's over there on Griffin Road. Tucked inside of a small strip mall on the southern side of Griffin. Clouser minnows are pretty good. I've tied some larger ones for saltwater use. I'm sure you can find larger weighted ones in stores. If not, give it a try tying it yourself. Fairly easy pattern to tie.

Yessir! Time to make that next title run. LETS GO HEAT!

Where will Lebron end up?
I wouldn't go that crazy to say Miami will become a Basketball city. Miami has always been, and probably will always be a football town. Even when the Heat made the run to win the title, football was still the most talked about thing down here. Nature of the beast. Especially with UM quickly climbing back up the college football totem pole. The Marlins...oh god...What a waste of, what, 500 million on that new stadium? I would have rather had the OB rebuilt. At least the Canes draw an audience. They put a baseball park, that has baseball games for the most part at goofy daytime hours, right in the MIDDLE of one of the worst high traffic areas in Dade county. Thats some smart thinking. As much as I enjoy going to Panthers games, short of them making a huge Stanley Cup run, they're just a notch above the Marlins as far as relevance goes. Believe me though, I'm very, very, very willing to see if the town changes with Wade, Bosh, and whoever else playing for the Heat.

What do you consider a successful day when fishing?
Coming home safely and unhurt makes my day successful. I don't feel the need to go out and absolutely catch every fish in the lake. I just enjoy the aspect of getting out there and floating around in the quiet to relax. Being able to catch some fish is a bonus. If I go out offshore and get skunked, thats a different story. It takes legitimate work for me to load up the boat to go trolling and whatnot. Bass fishing for me is a matter of picking up my rods and walking through my backyard and hopping on the boat for some me time. It's my way to de-stress, get away from the kids for a few moments of peace and quiet. I understand though, that a lot of you guys do go out for one purpose, and that is to catch lots fish, plain and simple. As long as you've enjoyed yourself, who's to say that you didn't have a successful day? PS: Trust me, I will never complain about those days that you just go out and smoke the heck out of the little green fish though.

Great shop. I just wish they had a little larger of a selection. I've picked up some fantastic monster 14 inch floating worms there.

Lox Refuge ?s
I can bring my Jon if need be, but I would much rather hitch a ride with somebody in their rig. My comfort level on a body of water that large that I've never been on would be exceedingly low. Not having an outboard also could be an issue if an emergency came up. Plus driving it up there hanging three or four foot off the back of the truck bed could be kind of entertaining at highway speeds. Bringing Ice shouldn't be a problem. I can have my old man load me up from his ice makers at his AT&T yard. Barring any unforeseen circumstances I'll definitely be there. My mother is going to watch my daughters for the day. Unless something pops up at work unexpectedly, I'll be there. I can still offer a ride to somebody thats in my area if they need one. Just don't mind the occasional cigarette on the ride up.

Where will Lebron end up?
LETS GO HEAT! LETS GO HEAT! LETS GO HEAT! All three to Miami! Ok, all kidding aside, Bosh and Wade in Miami. Lebron either Miami or Chicago. I'd lean more towards Chicago, although the fan in me says, "God that'd be sick if he came to sunny south FLA."

What your favorite, go 2 Peacock bass lure?
It's hard to say, peacocks can be exceedingly picky. Nothing is a sure bet outside of a live shiner. I've had lots and lots of success with small cranks, lipless cranks, and jerkbaits. The Yo-Zuri Hardcore SH-60 has been a phenomenal lure for peacocks lately. It's small, casts well, and closely mimics a lot of the smaller baitfish down in the South Florida lakes and canals. My most used color is the Holographic Shad. The only drawback is the price. At around 13 bucks a pop, you don't want to lose many of them. Peacocks like things that move. Erratic, quickly moving lures are generally the best way to hook up into a peacock down here. Small topwater prop baits like the Heddon Torpedo's can be super effective as well.

So far it's looking like the 21st of this month. Hopefully Salmicropterus is able to go as well.

megastrike evo heavy cover jigs
Good jig. I've got a few. I haven't been using jigs long enough to tell you things like they are the greatest ever, but from what I've seen, they're a fairly good jig.

Well then there you go, thats my vote. But I can probably do whatever's clever. Don't really matter to me all that much. Shorter drive is always the best though.

Adhesive for leaky jon boat rivets?
Rhino lining can be a great product on Jon boats, if it fits the application. If you're not worried about the drag it creates if painted on the bottom of the hull it's great. If you trailer your Jon and don't mind the added weight of it, then it's great. If you need to lift your boat out of the water to toss it in the bed of a truck, it's added strain on your back. If you use the boat in electric only waters, you're adding strain on the TM and slowing yourself down. Everything has it's pro's and con's. I used 5200 very liberally on my Jon and am completely satisfied with the results. My Jon gets used daily and I've got no leaks whatsoever. The 12"+ of rain we had today however, means I need to get some water out of the hull.... >

I'm not really sure which ramp would be best as I've never fished Lox. I'm all for picking whichever one makes it a decent drive for me from west Broward.

Questions from a beginner about jigging and rigging
I don't throw a c-rig that often, so I'm no help there. I consider myself a very good t-rig person though. I think that, along with the help of several members here, has helped me greatly learn how to use a jig. What you're describing is unfortunately a very common thing. Sometimes the bite on a t-rig or a jig is very noticeable. You'll get that tap or thunk on your line. No problem, cross his eyes. When you get into the questionable bites is where problems can start. Lots of times the bite will just feel mushy, very similar to small clumps of grass on the bottom. I understand you don't want to set the hook on everything, but one of the only was to discern whats a bite and whats not is to just set the hook. If it's a fish, you hopefully remember what it felt like. Hooksets are free. I'm not sure what kind of line you're using, but braid, fluoro, or braid with a fluoro leader can help you detect strikes much easier. Also, switching to tungsten weights has helped me detect bites and bottom composition a lot as well.

ROOSTER by NIGHT and THUMPER by DAY
Good god. Every single time you post about one of your trips I get jealous. Now after seeing that, I'm even more jealous. Ridiculous fish right there. I don't throw the rooster often right now, but previously when I have it has produced some really nice fish. I've been on a thumper kick lately. Cutting them down to about seven inches or so has been just fantastic for numbers.

Heddon torpedo
I use the Tiny Torpedo a lot down here in my area. It's a fantastic lure for Peacocks. Doesn't hurt that Largemouth like it just as much. ;D

strike king rage craw
Great line of lures. The craws and lobsters have been my best producers this year by far. T-rigged, flipped, pitched, they work in all conditions.
