New Bassresource addition!!!!
Hey hey now....lets leave soccer out of this! Those horns have nothing to do with it I hated them last year at the Confederations Cup. I'm used to them now. It just becomes background noise thankfully. I'm waiting to see them show up in the states at like the U.S. Open or something. That would be epic if horns were blaring when Mickelson was putting on the 18th to win it or something.

Any World Cup fans???
France losing really wasn't a surprise to me. I think Mexico has a far superior "team." France has a bunch of spectacularly talented individuals and a manager who's clueless. I really wish I could see the logic behind him taking out Anelka who played fairly anemic today, and replacing him with some dude that most of the world has never heard of. What was the point of bringing Henry in if he's not going to play? I'm not a France fan, but I would love to see Anelka and Henry playing up front with Ribery feeding them. It's really sad to see so many great players being forced to do what Domenech thinks is best. Good thing he's out after the World Cup. Mexico on the other hand looked great. Dos Santos was in great form like he normally is. That is one dangerous little dude. Aguirre has really brought that team together. I wouldn't be overly surprised to see them make it past the round of 16. The real question is going to be what the French are going to throw at the team when they arrive back in France after getting booted from the Cup. I'll be bold enough to say that they'll finally score a goal, but still end up with a draw when they play South Africa. Either that, or Tshabalala wins it at the end of the match with another rocket from distance.

Drop shotters.....gather around!
Tie a palomar knot with a long tag end. Run the tag end back through the top of the hook's eye, and gently pull on the tag so the knot rotates a bit. x2 Tried and true method. Works great everytime.

Humminbird Fish Finder - Questions
TM. I'm going to assume you've got a skimmer type transducer. You can buy a bracket or you can make one yourself. There was a thread here a while back where somebody had some picks of a DIY TM transducer bracket. Think of it this way, how many thousands of people that fish using trolling motors have transducers mounted on them. Almost every person I know that has one on it has no complaints because of vibration. Just pay attention so you don't go grinding it into the bottom in shallow water.

favorite trailer or craw for small finesse jigs
Makes a fantastic flippin bait also. 1/8oz pegged tungsten with a 5/0 octopus hook almost guarantee's you're hooking something.

favorite braid and fluorocarbon?
If you ask 10 different people, you're going to get 10 different answers. Personally I use Power Pro braid and have no issues. It's cheap and easily available. I like using Seaguar Abrazx as my leader material. BPS XPS Fluoro has been really good to me as well. Stay well away from Viscous. That stuff is just horrible. Lots of people have been recommending Daiwa Samurai Braid. Supposedly that stuff is fantastic.

swimsenko longevity
I use them a lot down here in my neck of the woods. I use a 4/0 or a 5/0 ewg depending on what I've got around at the time. 1/4 oz screw in weight or pegged bullet weight. I usually get anywhere from three to five fish per lure. Easily one of my favorite baits. I've actually taken an extra rod and rigged it up specifically to use them now. Watermelon w/black flake has been a solid color choice. I'll also throw a blue pearl w/silver flake on really bright days in open water when bass are chasing schools of baitfish.

BPS carbonlite reel
Hold up to bass fishing? Most anything will. Bass aren't exactly gear blasting fish. Most gear failures are the user's fault, or occasionally a manufacturing defect. The question is more of how will a reel hold up to prolonged use over the years. I've got a Carbonlite reel. It's basically a Pro Qualifier with a carbon fiber handle and a different main gear material. Good reel. I use mine daily and haven't had an issue with it.

788c vs 798c SI
Wayne, why must you keep teasing me with those shots. I keep telling myself not to buy a side imaging unit for bass fishing and I see that. Really is incredible the amount of detail you can get. My credit card is still warm from the TV I bought recently, it just may melt if I keep seeing these SI images.

Your biggest "non" bass specie's while fishing for bass!
25-30 lb catfish while night fishing. Dragging a weightless lizard on the surface, surprised the heck out of me.

After 8 months my bags are ready-Megastrike fishing
http://www.megastrike.com It's nothing like Spike it. This is a paste instead of a dippin dye. Great product. It's not the garlic scent. Amino acid based, etc etc.

Any World Cup fans???
Unfortunately, I had to work during the game today. I checked the score on my phone and about had to change my shorts. Couldn't believe it. Just got done watching the replay on ESPN and I've gotta say, the Swiss just showed the world how to beat Spain. They did basically the same thing the US did during last years Confederations Cup. Pack the box with people and shut down a really potent offense. Having a goalie thats up to par helps a ton as well. Definitely did not see that one coming. Congrats to the Swiss.

Mono Or Braid
Braid w/fluoro leader on 4 out of my five setups. The other use just fluoro for my cranking rod. I'm exceedingly happy with that combination.

soft plastic lizards
It's hard to beat a Zoom lizard or a Rage Lizard.

How many rods have you broken on a hookset?
Zero.

Lox Refuge ?s
I'm good for whatever date we decide on...if I get some advance notice. Early July would probably be fine with me. Or towards the end of the month like somebody else suggested.

R.I.P. chuck liddell's
Be hard to Chuck to win it without a chin though. He took one shot from Franklin and was eating canvas. Didn't even look like that bad of a punch.

spinnerbait, crankbait, jig or plastics
Voted plastics. I only chose that because of how versatile they care. Flipped, pitched, t-rigged, c-rigged, etc etc. Cranks would be a very close second with jigs coming in third.
