First Time To Pickwick
Hey guys I'm headed up to Pickwick for the first time next week. My intention is to mainly target smallmouth within a few miles of wheeler dam. What I've learned from reading forums is to fish the tailrace, bluff walls, gravel bars, and Indian mounds. Does that sound about right for this time of year? Are there Indian mounds that don't appear on navionics? Since I can only fish for two days, it would be really helpful if someone could give me some specifics on locations and lures. Also, what would be ideal weather this time of year? Thanks alot

Lay Lake Help
Clever "rowyourboat." Yea ive read thats where KVD won the 2010 Classic. Do yall know either a phone number or website that shows the schedule of the Logan Martin dam generation times? Jay Yelas won in 2002 in the tailrace of the dam, is this generally a productive fall pattern, or was that a fluke?

If anyone is willing to give up some of there spots or areas that have been productive that would be awesome too, just send me a pm. Thanks

Revo Premier 2010 vs. Revo STX vs. Daiwa Zillion vs. Shimano Curado
Which of these reels is the best with price not being an issue? I already have a Revo STX and love it, but i was maybe looking for something a little lighter.

Which rod for Guntersville hydrilla?
Im in the market for a heavy action rod to fish the weeds on Lake Guntersville. I will be fishing mostly weightless plastics and topwater with this rod so i need one that can cast light baits, but still has the backbone to rip bass out of the weeds. Ive been looking at the Daiwa Zillion, Gloomis imx, St.Croix Legend Tournament, and the Shimano Cumara all in 7' to 7'6". Do yall have any preferences between these rods, or know of a better rod suited to this application? thanks
