  1. Well today ended my weekend of fishing theese ponds. Overall i think i got 13 bass. Some small some pretty decent. Largest one was about 3lbs.Pretty good for me. I changed my plan a bit and caught the majority of fish on a watermellon senko rigged weightless. I worked it right up against the weed beds and got some good action. I also caught some nice ones fishing the buzz bait right over all the weeds.. Well just thought id throw in an update.
  2. Heres the deal im going to be fishing theese ponds every morning from 6-noon. Theres ALOT of algae and trees laying over.. With the addition of quite a few large bass. I was thinking using a topwater like a buzzbait, and if that doesnt work using a t-rigged u-tail worm? Does that sound like a pretty good plan, or do i need to be doing something different?
  3. Heres what you do.... Go to wal- mart and pick up a whole bunch of those $1.00 spinners, Then get him some imitation senkos, like Tiki Stiks, and maybe some more cheap plastics scince your on a budget.. Who wouldnt want that on your birthday?
  4. Im with ya... I normally dont bother changin colors, i just throw in a different lure. This is especially true when im fishing buzzbaits..If there not hitting a buzzbait i almost never just change colors i always change my bait.
  5. I dont really use in lines for bass, although i do fish inlines in streams for trout, and hook up a couple smallies here and there incedentily. The color that works best for me is the rooster tail bumblee bee yellow with the yellow skirt. As for big bass fishing id stick with the spinnerbaits.
  6. Actually i do quite often. I rig up a ultra lite spinning set up and put on a good ole hook and worm and let it sit., while i throw out the spinnerbaits ect... for the big boys.
  7. Peanut Butter and fluff baby! George W. Great president, Or Horrible President
  8. I use a black and blue rubber skirt with a craw imitation trailer 70% of the time. But to switch things up a bit i actually use...white with a white double tail grub.. Not too many use a white jig but everytime i use it i produce bass after bass? Maybe its just were im fishing?
  9. Do bass fisherman distinguish themselves greatly from fly fisherman in terms of attitude or priorities in the sport? No, The priorities of both fly fishing and bass fishing are exactly the same, catch large fish, the bigger the better in most cases. The attitude is also all the same, Bass fishermen give Fly fisherman respect, and visa versa. Do any of you do both? Do you have a preference and why? Yes, I enjoy both fly fishing and bass fishing equally, both have there goods, and bads. Could you talk about a favorite fishing product you own? My Favorite product (s) are the wide variety of plastic fishing lures. All of them are the same base (plastic,salt..) But each has its on feal, and catches fish diferently. Are there any products you own that you would like to see improved? I'm pretty sure its almost impossible, but i would love to see a fishing line that has ZERO memory for spinning spools. That would be awsome Lastly, where (geographically) do you fish? I fish in mideastern PA.
  10. hmm... great lakes Budweiser, or MGD?
  11. Catfish Buzzbait or Jitterbug?
  12. mid east P.A wieghtless senkos, jig n pigs, buzz bait, and spinner baits.
  13. Dark- Blue n Black! Catching a whole days worth of 5lb bass, or Killing a 12 point buck?
