Hello all, I'm a new resident to Southern California. I am a Florida transplant. I was involved with club tournaments, local opens, some BASS events, and some FLW events. Now living in Los Angeles, i have yet to go fishing and the itch has begun. I'm seeking some help to see if someone would have an open seat or a spot in there club for a non-boater. That's right, on the first day the team who one had a 10lber~. they spoke about going north when asked on stage but we all know how fisherman are.

I fished the Federation nation tournament. For me personally we only had 13lb first day and 10lb the second. It was a struggle for alot of people. but one team had 28lbs the first day and 32lbs the second day. There was two or three teams who had the 20lb range. the rest of the teams had about 15lb range.

i will be on the lake tomorrow. Hopefully i can find a 30plus stringer.

has anyone been to lake kissimmee lately? i am going to be fishing out of grape hammock this weekend and haven't heard anything from there in a while. I believe there might be some storms this weekend in the area which will effect it.

yea i fished sunday. alot of boats out there. from what i heard at the ramp was that top three of bassbusters on saturday was in the 30s. I personally didnt do nearly that well. i had about 8 or so pounds. caught dinks for most of the day. had a 8 or 9 lber on but came unbuttoned just out of the nets reach. it was a heart breaker. but all in all yea the lake is still pumping great fish and giant bags.

it might be a stretch for you but i am in a club located in fort lauderdale. We meet at Bass pro once a month. Either way if you want more info let me know. also i know a few good clubs in Palm beach. just Pm me if interested

yea im going out sunday to see what trouble i can get into. i will be heading towards moore haven too most likely. guess i have to watch for gar lol. i will report as well after my adventures. maybe we can bring back some Lake O to this forum and less VA lol.

Has anyone fished sawgrass? I went out last week amd had a very tough time. Wondering if anyone else did any better or worst

well i fished this weekend. had 9lbs on saturday and 4 on sunday. almost seemed like the fish just werent chasing anything. Everyone in my club did about the same. one boat had 16lbs from flipping on sunday. but just like everyone said, all fish came off outside edge for most people. i personally caught first day fish in the river deep. but thank you everyone for the reports.

its a club tournament. but its small(5 boats maybe) from south florida. Mainly a fun weekend for a group of us.
