  1. is it the high speed version? i know they have that problem with the high speed version. bass pro here says they have returned a lot of the high speed ones.

  10. fwiw, that line is rated at it breaking strength, not the dia like most other lines. So 14lb test breaks at 14lb. I like the line myself but the small dia claim isnt really comparing apples to apples with other lines
