That is not a good way to hold bigger bass .

Keep it for plastics and spinnerbaits and the other one for crank baits. Why would you just want one type of rod ?

Well I do own one and can give you a real evaluation . I bought mine to throw larger crank baits and was mildly surprised how well it did do the job for a cheaper rod.

I find it MUCH easier to hold the line instead of the rod. Great point.
