Was that your first encounter with bedding bass ? It can be pretty frustrating at times.

Nobody really cares for bass around here, except a few guys that fish for them. Alot people don't even know what a bass is. I would not gain anything by certifing the record. It's not like in the US where you can call a game warden to weigh the fish and even get a prize for a record. I would have to kill that fish to get it certified and that would be a shame. I rather have the memory of catching a fish like that then an official record. The thought of maybe catching that fish again is much more satisfying! I applaud you for your realistic thought process about bass fishing in your country . You sir are a true sportsman.
