A fishing vest is the way I go. With all the pockets I can take every thing I need. I don't have to worry about tugging a bag or box around and have both hands free to fish.

I've got so many. No patience is probably my # 1.

Try throwing some texas rigged plastics and fish them slow. Throw a senko rigged wacky style and if all else fails , throw a rat-l-trap. Looking forward to your next years post.

For a Reel between $100 and $150 I'd go with a Shimano Citica. The BEST reel for the price!!! Or with the rebate you can get a Curado for around $150. For a rod I'd go with an American Rodsmiths Limit Stix.
