  3. Hey guys , all the techniques we've been discussing on this issue work at one time or another. I just took issue with the statement " normal retrieves don't work most of the time". It's just me ,no big deal.
  4. I use a lighter drag setting with braid , I use both Med. and Med/Hvy rods with fast tips. I do believe the med. rods are the best with braid. , but this is just my opinion. I hope this gives you some insight.

  17. I can remember when it didn't cost you to put air in your tires !!!!!!!!!!!!! In some of your responces , you said "IF" THEY PUT THE MONEY BACK INTO THE LAKE . I DON'T MIND PAYING. find out where the money is going and see if it is justified. If its going back into lake for up-keep of the facilities , all is good and well and if not ????????????????????. sorry if this sounds like I'm bitchin , but sometimes I just get tired of being used by the system. just my 2 cents worth.
  18. Keep it simple........spinnerbaits and buzzbaits(white, chartruese/white ,and black for night). For cranks use shad colors , firetiger colors , cray fish colors. As they say try to match the hatch for the lakes or rivers you are fishing. I hope this gives you an idea on what to start with.
  19. What type of line are you using?
  20. Go to your states division of wild life site on your computer and see if they have topo maps of the lake your going to. I hope this helps.

  23. If your on clear water , use a smaller white willow leaf spinner . if stained or dirty use a chartruese spinner with colorado blades .this has b een working for me.
  24. fish on the night when the moon is full , you'll be surprised how much light there will be. use either black or white baits in larger sizes with steady retrieves. your best bet would be large short armed sinners , buzz baits , and rattle-traps. hope this helps you out.
