Sunglasses
Buy Oakleys if you can afford them. I bought a pair last weekend for $200 and they were one of the best investments I've ever made. Here's some good advice; if you can't afford them, don't even try them on, that way you won't know what you're missing. There is really no comparison between cheap sunglasses and Oakleys. I bought the Oakley "Ice Picks" with polarized amber lenses. They are AMAZING!

JJ's Magic
OOOOOOooooooohhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! JJ's on a Senko!?!??!?!?! Based on what I've read on this forum that wouldn't even be fair. It would be too easy. All I can tell you is you better use more than one hook, because you are easily going to have to reel in 4-5 bass on each cast. Better be careful, you might even have bass jumping into your boat to get to 'em. ;D

Charging Optima Blue Top Battery
I just recently purchased an Optima Blue Top Battery to push my trolling motor, and I am not sure how to set my charger to charge the battery. I have a charger with three settings for "charge rate" and three settings for "battery type": Charge Rate: 2A, 10A, or 15A Battery Type: Regular, Deep Cycle, or AGM Gel Cell I'm assuming it would be best to set the charge rate @ 2A, because I've been told the slower charge will preserve battery life. But, I don't know if the Optima Blue Top would be considered a 'regular,' 'deep cycle,' or 'AGM Gel Cell' type of battery. Any help/explanation on this would be greatly appreciated. P.S. Here is a link to the Optima Batteries website. I have a model D27M: https://www.optimabatteries.com/products/bluetop

Thanks, I caught that on a F-9 Floating Rapala!

Tubes
I don't understand how you could have set the hook hard, reeled the fish all the way to the boat, and not have exposed the hook. It doesn't make sense. Are you sure it wasn't a bream hitting the smaller tube? Maybe, just stick with the 4" tube.

help with losing fish
all I can tell you is: Set the hook hard, ALWAYS keep your line tight, and if, for some reason, the line gets slack while you're reeling it in, take the first opportunity you get to make sure that hook gets back where it's supposed to be as soon as possible, i.e. set the hook again!

Free Money to spend
By the way... I want some free money to spend. That is, if you have any extra

I choose B. Especially if you already have a GPS... Why spend all that money on something you already have?

buying fishing sunglasses
I bought a new pair of sunglasses for myself Saturday. They are Oakley Icepicks with amber colored lenses: http://oakley.com/pd/5706 After speaking with the manager of the store I realized that Oakley makes the best polarized lenses. I tried on multiple brands, and no other was even close. This is my new pair:

New batteries =Optima Batteries?
The blue top battery is the marine battery. I use mine for trolling, and it is AWESOME! I have two in my '99 Triton powering my trolling motor, and they'll run hard for several trips before needing to be recharged. They are expensive, but well worth every penny.

Jighead's Most Productive Baits
I buy my jig head hooks from basspro.com. You can really fish them anywhere. But the ones with a brush guard help keep them weedless for fishing cover.

buying fishing sunglasses
I did some research, and I found this website that has polarized fishing sunglasses that fall in your price range: http://fishgillz.com/sunglass_styles.shtml Here are some other sites with nice glasses, although most of them are quite a bit more expensive: http://www.costadelmar.com/ http://www.habervision.com/ http://www.tifosioptics.com/polarized/index.html http://www.wileyx.com/FISHING/index.aspx http://oakley.com/search/straight+jacket Here's some info on lens color: *Gray or green-tinted: Offer the least amount of color distortion; good for all-purpose use and clear days. *Amber and orange: Block blue light, offering a brighter view on cloudy, hazy, or foggy days. *Gold and yellow: Add contrast; best in flat and dim-light situations. *Brown: Best for enhancing depth perception. *Rose: Has the highest contrast and best low-light image resolution. *Mirrored: Reduces the amount of light that reaches the eyes; good at high altitudes. *Gradient: Shaded from top to bottom. (A double-gradient lens is dark at the top and bottom, and lighter in the middle.) Driving glasses are often gradated so that you can see the dashboard clearly. *Photochromic: Automatically darkens and lightens as light conditions change. Photochromic (transitional) lenses won't get very dark, and take some time to adjust to changes in light. Heat also hinders the photochromic (transitional) lenses from getting dark. Hope this helps.

The amazing thing to me is that the fish was still took your bait with a snake hanging out of its throat!
