  1. Agreed...those things stink to high heaven! But they do work rather well on a stand-up or football type jig head.
  2. Im gunning for anything over 6 lbs this year....and of course the Iowa state record largemouth (10-12 since 1984)
  3. It's simply a texas rig without the weight at the front. Line-hook-plastic thing.
  4. There's been more than one time while fishing a tournament that I've busted out the ole RoadRunner, may not have won it for me but it usually gets me out of the "0 fish" column. Reminds me when I had to ride a bike to get somewhere to fish, with only ONE fishing rod/reel, and I didnt even carry a tackle box, just took what would fit in my pockets. I'd use a roadrunner all day and that was it. I dont think I've ever caught a bass much over 2 lbs with one, but when the going gets tough it's hard to beat.
  5. Does anybody else even use RoadRunners anymore?
  6. The top 10....here goes. 1. Berkley power worm 6 & 10" or Yum Trick Worms 2. Terminator spinner baits 3. Buzzbaits 4. Boze Sumo Frog for the slop 5. GYCB Senkos and Tubes 6. Roboworm 4" worms and FX worms for dropshotting 7. The DT line of Rapala Crankbaits or Rat-L-Traps 8. Lucky Craft pointers 78sp & dd or Rapala Husky Jerks 9. Reaction Innovation Sweet Beavers 10. All time greatest bail out lure...a red RoadRunner jig head on a white twister tail grub
