well last four times i went i got skunked by the lake so maybe oyu can help me lol.

i fish west point alot. i have been told its one of the hardest lakes to fish by alot of fishermen. what would you like to know about it?

ok i got a question about night fishing how the heck do u not get hung in the bank or brush or whatever? do u use a light?

i dont know i like seeing the responses why give away a vital clue like who owns the boat? i tell you though i own the boat and i told him im taking the front of the boat so u can just sit in the back and ***** or get out in the yard and practice casting!!

anyone fish this lake that might could offer some advice. i want to take a trip up there and fish it one day i know it cant be as easy as the pros make it look so i want to be prepared. what landing is best to use type of cover anything would be great

well no rot in the boat its a nice boat and solid.

I think the best thing to do is try and controll the excitment of seeing them blow up your lure first off.

my buddys got one i teased him about buying it cause they are expensive. He has caught some fish on it but nothing great i still put a whooping on him with my titanium spinners anyday.

I fish atleast once a week and usually its a full tourney day from safe light till 3:00 sometimes i dont wait for the safe light and sometimes i get out twice a week also depending on wife............. and kids.....

its funny i use to tell him i guess im your *itch i call wake you up i buy all the gas i drive us to the lake i unload the boat and drive us down the river and then i drive the trolling motor all day guess its what i get for complaining about having to do everything lol

see thats the thing some times im like god at the fish we probally missed cause he doesnt know what the heck he is doing. But then i think well he wont get any better unless he puts in some time. So i just bite my tongue and shut up kinda... He says must be nice to sit in the back and *itch lol but hey he has to know what he is doing wrong right?

I have a great buddy that i fish with he takes time off from work to fish during the week with me. He's my best friend but he sucks at using the foot control trolling motor and insist on being in the front of the boat. His boat postioning sucks and stays to close to objects we are fishing for me and my comfort. He says he cant throw his pole from the back of the boat. some times i wish i could just fish alone but i like having someone to fish with. How do u break it to him that he sucks in the front!?

well as far as fishing the skinny water you really couldnt. The water was 20-30 ft back into the woods. And where the bank once was it was 5-10ft deep. I fished deep on humps figuring the fish would relate to the side opposite the current but like i said nothing was working. I wonder how long this flood will affect the fishing!?

16' 1988 glass stream bass boat with 90hp mariner and trolling motor. I wouls say condition is about a 5 or 6 out of ten motor runs good what do u guys think the boat might be worth?

So I had to work all weekend and i had waited for seven days to hit the water. Here in Ga we got ALOT of rain and the lake was up like 8-10 ft. I fished points shallows newly submerged areas channels and could not catch a fish. I got two bites in eight hours. Im really looking for suggestions and things i missed. Any help?

How much time would you spend on drop offs this time of year? does everyone think the shallows are heating up? The lake I fish in is about 80 degrees right now The bream have spawned and there are tons of hatchlings but the shallows just arent producing. It seems like points are where i pick up most fish they are just small. But everything tells me from what i have read and learned that the bass should be moving up. Any info or if anyone else on here that fishes westpoint lake GA any info would be a great help. O btw i have been throwing a spinner a little but no bites on it mainly worms. What bait or dept would everyone reccomend.
