  1. If you state a price range we can help a lot more. But, for the plastics/jig rod, I would recommend a 7' MHF or HF, with braid. Flipping rod should be 7'6 HF, also with braid. I bet you love that Curado/Avid combo!
  2. Haha...someone didn't think it through when they made that sign in the second picture. If I were a resident of that street, I would upset that the township was calling my child "slow." Hahahaha I know. I was going through a "less fortunate" part of town a couple months ago and someone had changed a sign from "Children at play" to "Black children at play"
  3. Four more Pepsi Wild Cherry Slurpies from Sheetz.
  4. And...a Swarming Hornet with a LF Live Magic Shad.
  5. I've put my Advantage through a Summer of fishing, including a long stretch of froggin'. I've gotts say, this is one sick reel. The biggest fish I've caught was a 4.5 I caught on a frog. She hit right as the frog hit the water after a L-O-N-G cast. The reel handled her like a champ. I've been using it on a Vendetta 7'3 HXF. The combo balances right on the hook hanger, which is impressive for a flippin' stick. I've only used 50 and 65# braid, so I can't comment on how this reel handles other lines, or lighter lures. I've thrown frogs, RT Thumpers, jigs, mop jigs, a Mattlures Baby Bass, and flipped with this combo. The Advantage makes pitching effortless. I mean completely effortless. The drag is really smooth. When you pull line out, it slides off, not jump-starts like some reels. Some people have commented on how wide the reel is.... it doesn't bother me at all I would definitely recommend this reel. I've heard people compare these to the smooth feel of a Zillion. Great reel, buy one if you can, especially if you can get one for the price I did. I paid $90 for the whole combo..
  6. I remember when they first came out, Shimano reps and the guys over at TT used them for just about everything. Deep cranks, jigs, plastics, swimbaits, spinnerbaits, basically everything. The Curado seriously is an extremely versatile reel, and it's built like a tank. Low profile, smooth, power knobs...
  7. I wish I knew how to make these smaller...
  8. Canon SD1400. It's a little boss.
  9. Might have to give one of those Cabelas Prodigy reels a try.
  10. Wow, that's saying a lot coming from a Zillion expert!
  11. Took these yesterday with my new camera. LOVE IT.
  12. The sunfish are most likely bedding, and the bass are keying in on them. They literally will NOT hit anything but a live 'gill.
  13. HSTA? Yeah, that I bought from him haha
  14. Wow dude. Recognize the reel I posted? ;D
  15. "There's still some right there."
  16. Looks like my latest rescue, Yogi Mini Dixie! I like those colors
  17. You win. Stop showing off. I'm gonna PM you in a couple days with some questions ;D
  18. They are matte black down the blank. Very sharp looking rods. Oh #@$! I thought they were silver and blue down the blank. Matte black is my favorite color LOL.
