Anyone know where I can find #3 Tru Tungsten Smart T Pegs? Looked everywhere and I can't find them. Looks like they are not for sale anymore. Anyone know of another brand that is similar to the Smart T Pegs?

I am looking into investing in a Minn Kota Trolling Motor with IPilot. Anyone have opinions, reviews, or experiences with IPilot?

Fishing wind over 10mph on Falcon Lake can be very crazy. Id rather stay home. But I agree that some wind is good.

Can you use a baitcaster for finesse fishing? I hear and read that spinning tackle is the way to go when fishing finesse. Any comments or suggestions.

I am fishing Toho in about a week. I booked a guided trip and would like to know if I should take my own lures and tackle. Guide insists that I will catch more on shiners, but I really want to fish plastics. The guide said plastics are available also. I was also told that I don't have to take anything. What do you guys think? I don't want show up without anything and the guide tell me well you need hooks, lures, weights, line, reel and rod.

I have a Vision XLT and I am not to impressed with it. If I cast the reel sometimes the brake will move by itself. I notice this has happen because of the backlashes I am getting. Not only that, the screw that holds the hand to the reel broke off. There was a defect with the screw and the spool. Pennacle replaced them but I still dont like the overall performance of it.

I recently purchased a Minn Kota Edge 70# bow mount motor. I used it for about 2 months and the unit went out. Stop working completely. I took it back to Academy and they replaced it for me. Now I am having another issue with it. The foot pedal and motor seems to get stuck when trying to turn. I have to move it back and forth till it finally gives and lets me turn. I can here a scratchy or cracking noise when the motor gets stuck and it seems to becoming from the top of the unit or the shaft. The prop works just fine on all speeds. I went back to Academy and they don't want to replace it anymore. I have to call Minn Kota for repairs. Any suggestions? I have been thinking of buying another Minn Kota with IPilot but now i am debating that because of the problems I have with this motor.

I use Suffix and Tuff XP. Can't complain. 50 to 65 pound for flipping and pitching heavy cover.

My Revo S reel has been given me some problems. The line guide stays to the left side of the reel when fishing. The reel handle also stays stuck and make a noise like if the gears are skipping. I took it completely apart and gave it a good cleaning. It worked fine for a couple of trips. Then it started again. Can anyone suggest what might be the problem? I was thinking of buying a new pawl and worm shaft. Could that solve the problem. Or maybe I should just send it back to ABU Garcia.

What type of hook set should I use when fishing a fluke? I am using a sweep action hook set. I rigged it using a swivel, split shot weight above swivel and a 6 to 12 inch flouro leader. I am using the zoom magnum super fluke. I lost 5 fish. Sad but true. I put the hook throught the bait so the hook comes out on top and I put the point of the hook back into the lure. Not deep, just barely covering the hook point. Its a sad thing to see 5 pounders come loose.

I like to C-Rig the 12 inch Jelly. Watermelon Red. Great action. 6/0 hook. weight depends on depth. One of my favorite lures.

50 # braid is what I use when flippin and pitching a jig. Especially in heavy cover. I dont cut the weed guard. Try filleting the fish when you set the hook. Get my drift.

I bought a 70 pound edge foot pedal control and it stopped working on me. I tapped the top unit and it started working. It stopped again and i tapped it again and worked again.. I took it to Academy and had it replaced. I had a month with the motor. Never found out what was wrong with it. All i wanted was a new motor.

I did a search on google about a fuse box under the hood. I found the fuse box diagram and where i can find it. I found the fuse box under the hood. I checked out all the fuses and found one burnt out. I changed it and fixed the problem. Case solved. Thanks for the great info Fishing Rhino and Team Dougherty. CASE SOLVED!!!

The lights were working before. I have ford 2006 F150. I thing my father tried connecting the four prong connection the wrong way and it made a short. Any idea were I can find the trailer wiring fuse box.

My trailer lights do not come on when my truck lights are on. It seems to be happening only when I pull the boat with my truck. Only the break, blinker and reverse lights work. They work like if you were pulling the boat during the day with the truck lights on. The side lights do not come on at all. A friend of mine pulled my boat the other weekend and all the lights worked fine even the side lights. They stay on like they should when traveling at night. I looked at the fuses for the truck and they all look good. Any idea???

Went in to Bass Pro to buy some platics and a new reel like I always do after a day of fishing. I came home with a Nitro bass boat. You should have seen my wifes face when I backed the boat in the garage 3 days later. "You must be nutts." YES I AM!!!
