  2. Well the wife and I went to that lake in columbia the other day. It was an ok day only 2 fish but at least we narrowed down what part of the lake they are on now so the next time maybe it will be a little better.
  3. Thanks for the info next time we go we will have to try it. We are about to go up to lake elkhorn up by columbia has anyone been up there lately? we went last night and it is pretty grassy. lots of weeds and muck. perfect conditions for bass although we did not find any. it is really shallow about 3 to 4 feet. Just wondering if anyone has been up that way latley.
  4. Nice pic basser. No we did not catch anything. I had a couple bites by some logs with a green frog but nothing solid. spinners, cranks, jigs and tubes were all for not lol. plus our motor died on us and we had to paddle back to shore. it was still a better day then being at work.

  7. Well I Live in maryland. I have all types of different items in my tackle box. I use everything from spinner baits, to jigs, crainkbaits, numerous types of artificial worms, crawfish, and minnows. I have a few top water minnows and poppers as well. i would say it is a 2 mile lake roughly, no dam.
  8. Well no luck today. I had two bites for all I know it could have been a catfish. We might try to go back tonight and do a little night fishing, but we have been fishing this lake off and on for months and landed maybe 3 fish out of it. 2 catfish and a rainbow trout lol.

  10. There is a lake by my apartment in. Now people and the website say that this lake is filled with largies, catfish and smaller perch. My wife caught a rainbow trout on a bobber with a worm, and trout are not even on the list. Now my question is where will the bass be? There are certain areas where the catfish are just all over. will the bass be in the same spot, or in a different area? there is not alot of coverage in the lake, and it is only shore fishing no boats allowed
  11. ok thanks. My wife and I went to Loch Raven last weekend. We fished each spot for about 30 mins before bouncing to a new one. Long day no bites. only caught a northern and that was while trolling
  12. How long do you fish a spot before you give up and move to the next one? :-?

I have been in maryland for almost 2 years, and still have not caught a fish from maryland waters lol. my wife has caught a few small catfish, but the bass have still evaded us so far.

We have fished the triadelphia reservoir, and a little lake in laurel, and I think we even made it out to seneca lake once. the only thing we have caught so far are a couple of small catfish in laurel lake, otherwise notta.
