August has always been my least productive month of the year. In your case, because you don't have the electronics, I would cover as much water as possible with a deep diving crank bait and when you find one, slow down and throw a jig or dropshot.

Is that black interconnecting cable suppose to be running from one negative to a positive?

Thanks for the help Bkeith. I will look into replacing the other two, but for now I need to get it running. I took a picture of all the wiring and set it up the same way when I put the batteries back in. The only thing that I am concerned about is why I have a black cord going from the negative connection on one battery, and connected to the positive on another (as shown below). I am almost certain that this is how it was before and it worked, but I don't know how that can be right...

Really? Apparently I have worked with the wrong people the 100x they have messed up my orders. I would rank Cabelas right with Xfinity as the least helpful customer service departement I have ever worked with. One example. I order some LC cranks and when I recieved a totally different model and color, I gave them a call. The lady had an attitude with me from the beginning and she went swore I was misreading the model and that they sent the right one...after convincing her that I was correct, she went on to say they dont and have never carried the model I "supposedly" ordered... They lost a lot of business because of this lady, because only God know how much I spend on fishing stuff!

Too many to count! I have 6+ sandwich containers full of NorthStar jigs...Let's just say I got hooked for early on.

Just another reason to give the kid a bath! Try out those new lures...love it.

My 101 lb thrust Minnkota Maxx trolling motor is running A LOT slower than it use to and I wanted to see what advice you all had as to where to start? Has anyone thrown the 7'11" MH Fast for deep cranks? I just purchased this rod after not being impressed with the ripping action of my Dobyns 805. I fish a lot of weedlines in deeper water and after purchasing this rod, I noticed that there is a XF model that is for spinnerbaits, but better in soft cover....Did I make the right decision? Thanks!

Really? The first one I threw on the back of a swim jig didn't even get a bite before falling off....Not happy with the durability at all.

Yes, we're currently building up an inventory, but like with any new product release, we only have a guesstimated amount that we will sell. That could be too high or low, so I would recommend ordering on the release day or shortly there after.

Think of it as NorthStar's after ICAST release! Not to say this jig is going only excel in a specific season, but we really think the black series is going the be the best fall jig ever produced...the thicker skirt and rubber/silicone combo produces a tantalizing fall. That paired with the flair of the skirt that mimics a craw in the defensive position that the bass have never seen and you have a perfect fall jig...We cannot wait to see how our customers catch them on the black series!

Yeah, even though we have always been happy with our paint finishes, the matte finish on the black series increases the durability even more.

Wait till you see some of the color combinations we have I think that will be the most impressive thing about the Black Series.
