theres a few reasons,one being personal experiance alot of ppl will tell you on here or most any other tackle site that Quantum stuff don't last long,breaks often and easy and their customer service is noted as being the worst out there.Ill admit there reels look nice but looks aint everything,if you dont know Zebco the king of spincasters owns quantum zebco is a HUGE company so youd think that quantum (zebcos cadilac line) would be par none,but ask alot of guys on here or go read reviews on other sites and youll see what ppl go through with quantum reels breaking after 1 season ALOT of problems with gears grinding and then their famous customer service ;D ...thats just my opinion,im sure others will agree or disagree but you buy what you like and what works and performs for you i guess and for me quantum dont work or perform. yes ive heard of zebco that was my first reel. thanks for the info i was just wondering y such a bad wrap

i too would go with the dicks employee's choice. You can use that rod for bass fishing. When i am goin out i usually take one reg rod and a light rod. The light rods can be alot of fun to catch a decent bass on. So yes it can be used for bass too

i like rage tails but nothing beats the good old fashion texas rig plastic worm. I mean how long has that thing been around and it does not stop producing ever IMO NOT TO MENTION the rage tail shad tails tare way too easy i foresee them being a big investment.

Ive found a bic works the best and me being a smoker i always have my bic on me. To answer your question no i have not tried it yet.

Most Success ever my father introduced me to the Roboworm line i fish the 7" straight tail Margarita Mutilator and the 6" straight tail Morning Dawn with char truce tip on the tail. Texas Rigged of course. I average atleast 3 to 4 fish in an hour trip fishing from the shore

and that is how i like it out there constant. Our bass season starts in Feb and goes till like Oct Nov time. Not to mention all the other fishing going on there.

Hey Yall I am new from San Diego been stationed in Quantico VA for 5 years. I was referred here by Memo and Eddie. Hopefully i can bring good knowledge here and learn at the same time. Ive been fishing since i was 3yo and haven't stopped since except the 3Months i was in Boot Camp. I mostly fish Freshwater LMB from float tubes in lakes and the Colorado river.
