what are some of the "Henry County" lakes you are talking about. im a HC resident, didnt know there were specific lakes i could fish just being a resident...

get what you pay for in quality. not gonna help you catch anymore fish really. a buddy of mine has a really nice baitcaster that was handed down to him from his grandpa. and i was pimpin a $35-40 mitchell spinning reel. and ive way more than out fished him. but now im rockin the $69-79 walmart/dicks sporting goods Abu Garcia bait caster. <<<<< ill say one thing. it is MUCH better than the spinning reel i was using but, it hasnt really helped me catch more fish. but its more comfortable. precise. cast further, smoother. sensitive. and i love it. cant stand throwing an open reel now

id go with a worm. only because i havent gotten the experience/or technique down using many other things.

never used one but that worm looks dam enticing. alot of action

i think i might try out jw smith. that part of the new reservoir that opened up? if it is. my sisters fiance's dad has been up there alot wearing them out.

im getting into other techniques to catch bass. and have been wanting to try some jigs. ive read a bunch on jigs and stuff. but would like some tips from you guys. maybe just a few jig styles and colors. not necicarly just for shallow thick stuff. but also goin deep and workin it on bottom with a trailer of some sort. any recommendations on what to use? jig style/weight/color. and personal prefernece on trailers and where you use them.. thanks all help appreciated

im no professional bass master. but i just picked up my first baitcaster and are in the same boat as you man. im in love with it. i got it down pat in a day or so. and now when catfishin or something it feels so awkward using a spinning reel. i aint got no fancy shimano like yours. but i love my abu garcia <<<<<<<
