Hi uhh, my dad "caught" this fishing reel/rod when he went fishing with his brother (like more than 10 years ago). he gave it to me( 2 years ago my first baitcasting reel), since he had no idea how to use it. Ive been using it correctly and all but im just wondering the background history of this reel, since the rod broke. its an abu garcia ambassaduer 5500c3 2 speed. anything helps !

i only have the Twitchin and the ambassaduer round reels (baitcasting anyway). just two. The ambassaduer was my first ever so i just assumed all did that ;D

I've been reading around alot lately and most of you guys seem to use tubes a whole lot. I never used tubes before, so i just bought a pack of 10 zoom green pumpkin black flake tubes at wal-mart. I really want some opinions on how I could work these guys really well this year!

are u positive? because my ambassator(spellings bad and its an older model) im sure the eye moves both when releasing and obtaining line

on my Megaforce Twitchin' 100TSHL,(its new) when line is getting peeled off the reel, the guide that moves side to side to spool the line on/off doesnt move. but the odd thing is that when i reel in line, it moves perfectly! so im stumped

what color scheme for the rattletraps do you like most? i got a variety of them but i dont want to take the time to experiment (lazy man right here haha ;D)

its submerged weeds, that can get quite thick in hot spells.

i fish at merill creek. on the right side of the resivoir (spelling sucks haha)

in the summer on the lake, its gets really, really weedy on my favorite fishing spot. Im wondering what i could use to exploit this. Any suggestions? anything helps ;D

i got a new baitcaster, called the Megaforce Twitchin' 100TSHL. id like some comments on how it does with you guys. I've been waiting forever to go out into the water but it just keep on snowing :'(. please dont continue anylonger! this cabin fever sucks!. oh yeah i also want some recommendations for other reels, reel/rod combos, or just rods!

Merrill Creek is a fun place and ive done the whole place with a kyak easily

that 2 ounce rule isnt nessasary i think. if it weighs more, then its the world record

I go out on the boat every now and then, going to the rock reefs and grass patches all along Merrill Creek, but i never really have that much luck. Every now and then i catch a biggie but nothing much. Any hints?? anything would be nice
