dont you hate to that with rooster tails, after the 5th or 6th cast, you kinda have to jerk it a little to get the blade spinning? it gets annoying for me

Really? i always thought that Mepps were sturdier and longer lasting than rooster tails. Yeah, a larger assortment of colors, but Mepps i think have better quality

  16. i have this rod which broke at the bottome of the last ring, so there is the second to last guide with a little rod, and ive continued to fish with it regardlessly. only seemed to affect my casting distance. Anything else that it could actually affect? (STUPID but still, i want to ask)

  18. over this loooong winter, i got this stuff. apparently it attracts bass and all this other yada yada. Does it actually work? hope it does, thanks ;D
  19. cant you just try something for a while, and then enjoy it without worrying about all the "conditioning" and "variables"? if what you did when you go out to fish was just catching fish, then the sport would be called catching, not fishing
  20. absolutely, i go for trout regularly and don't use fly gear. You can use live bait, worms are great with a very small hook. Or you can use small spinners, mepps and panther martins are awesome. you can pick up a few panther martins at any walmart or any store that has fishing supplies, they're cheap. Thanks a bunch! the funny thing is that i already have alot of that stuff that i use for other fish like panfish and perch. now it time to try trout!
  21. is there anyway i could fish for trout without having to use flies and fly fishing related stuff? i dont know how and i dont have the resources to fly fish
  22. can't. cabin fever will destroy me
