  2. In my opinon high end rods are a waste of money when you can go to walmart and but a descent rod for 15 bucks if you are worried about breakage buy three or four and you are still no where near the 100+ dollars you will spend on a rod that is made the same exact way that an inexpensive one is made but if you are a name brand guy go with st. coxi
  3. SOME THINGS I HAVE FOUND THAT WORK. I USE BOOYA SPINNERBAITS WITH TANDUM BLADES IN 1/2 OUNCE WILLOW AND CALORADO BLAD COMBOS WORK WELL FOR ME IN SILVER COLOR FOR MURKY WATERS AND GOLD IN CLEAR. COLORS OF SKIRT- THE BEST I KNOW IS TO DO SOME RESEARCH ON WHAT BAIT FISH ARE IN THE LAKES YOU WILL BE FISHING I.E. WHITE/YELLOW PERCH, AMERICAN SHAD AND PICK THE COLOR THAT BEST MATCHED THEIRS BECAUSE IT IS WHAT THEY ARE THE MOST FIMILAR SORCES OF FOOD. HOPE THIS HELPS...
  4. yes and no you can look at the area around a lake and see where fish should be, but you never really know what is going on under the water. the place you think there might be a big boy laying you might catch a small on or nothing and other times you could just through a crank or spinner bait in the middle looking to cover some water and get a reaction bait and theres your monster. luck plays its part as well as skill
