The Feds are opening runs all along the east coast due to a significant drop in the population. Endangered species due to the lack of active spawning areas. Many of the ponds in RI have had active alewife runs for years the fish are still catchable you just gotta work a little harder for 'em

I have always loved fishing jitterbugs. I can't wait to see pics of the monster bass that inhales that lure. My favorite fishing hole is one of the few in RI that holds trout year round and i have done pretty well with a trout pattern there. Great idea good luck with it

I live in RI nothing is more than 30 minutes away 8-) 50 feet to some of the most productive striper waters in the world. My favorite FW spot is a 5 minute drive.

LOL sorry i had to do it. Wow for $30 i can get myself a popper a swimmer my favorite spinnerbait and a bag of electric grape power worms and still have enough left over for lunch.

Yea or Phyllis Diller ;D i had to pause the video for a second after that one. Of all the great tips the one that stands out in my mind is the cast/entry. Mastering the cast and getting your lure to slip into the water as quietly as possible takes some time but is well worth it.
