Well I talked with twra and in TN they are on the list of legal species to catch and transport as live bait as long as they are under 4". Well I just happen to have access to some water with a lot of small ones in it. I am gonna try it on Friday. I will post the results after.

Do smallies eat bream? Would they make good live bait where legal? Let me know.

Kent how deep are you all fishing down on pickwick? I am gonna be drifting shiners and wondered what depth you all where fishing them at. I know I am fishing a different body of water but I am hoping to find a place to start. Thanks

Ok I am packing it up now. The Daiwa is still there. My takes are: 2 small cranks 3 bags of plastics 2 are fluke type baits one is some kalins grubs. My puts are: 6 various H2O crank baits. They are either new or have been used once. 1 deep diving rapala that is new 6 bags of various plastics. I hope someone can use something I have put in.

I received the box late today, 2/17/2011. I will take out and put back in tomorrow and plan to ship it out Saturday morning. I'll have to get an address for next on the list. Clyde

I have to say that chasing smallmouth is a serious addiction. I am not very good at it but I catch small ones out of the creek just behind my house. Then we catch them out of a canoe in a small river about 20 miles away. I would much rather spend the day chasing them .

I have done the water pump also I forgot to add that. I have not done anything to the carbs though.

I have a very good running 1989 black max 150 merc on my Pro Craft. I have changed the plugs and lower unit oil. The oil injector has been disconnected for a long time. I have known this boat and engine since it was new. Even though I have only owned it for a little over a year. What sort of maintenance do i need to keep up with. When do the thermostats need to be changed. Just looking for tips to help keep a good engine good. Thanks

What lipless cranks do you go to fishing for small mouth. I am fishing in the river for them. Been catching fish on craw colored regular cranks but i need to throw some lipless cranks in there too.
