  2. I've used them for about 3 years now without a single issue.
  3. zoom fat albert double tail grub 3.5"
  4. Mann's Stone Jig in Black/blue or green pumpkin. The reason I like it is the design of the head is flat on the bottom, but isn't a football design so it can be flipped/pitched or fished in similar presentations to that a football jig is used.
  5. t-rigged, tungsten 1/8 oz is the way I fish it most of the time, slowly swept along the bottom, changing the weight based on the amount of wind or current.
  6. I thread grubs and craws and hook chunks.
  7. If you're going to get a Loomis, get at least the IMX. I have a GL2 and it's not even comparable to my IMX. A lot better rods in the GL2 price range, check out Fenwick, Dobyns, and Powell. I think the Daiwa Zillion rods are also in that price range.

  9. http://www.foxnews.com video surfaced of the family releasing the balloon
  10. dad has two and says they are good for the money. Several other people on here have said the same thing, and several others said different. Here's the other thread on them, has several other opinions: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1252533008/0

  14. he was using the light and tough rods alot , suprised you didn't see that ...... rewatched the first 2 days on the lake, he was using the Light and Toughs and then the last 2 days on the river he was using Steezs. Seems like L&Ts are his rod of choice for jigs.
  15. he was using the light and tough rods alot , suprised you didn't see that ...... i saw them a lot in the footage from earlier tournaments. Hell, I even saw one of his own signature rods in his rod holder.
  16. he placed 4th, skeet placed 6th
  17. Looked like he had all Steez's on deck during the AOY finale on ESPN2 this weekend.
  18. great color. clear to slightly stained.
  19. another vote for coffee tubes
  20. I use the same rod for tubes as I do jigs.
  21. Sorry, I haven't/can't see any clips right now. Did you see a clip of him specifically saying what he used? I read a blog, but that doesn't mean he actually said it. I've noticed ESPN quite regularly mis-identifies the equipment that was used in a specific tournament. I know for a fact in past instances where the fault lies because I've tracked the chain of info to the source of the problem. Unless you specifically heard Ike say he was using "X" rod, I'd say the issue is not with him. talks about using his signature rod picture from the red river using a Light and Tough Did see him using his signature spinning rod during the three rivers tourny
  22. Another vote for the SK 4S in Sexy Shad. Also a fan of the Norman Fat Boy in Nutter Shad.
  23. Yea I remember reading that, I'm pretty sure the numbers were very close.
