  1. I use tubes and creatures in those areas. A lot less hangups, just check to make sure the hook isn't exposed.
  2. Agreed, I like a craw or creature for punching mats way better than a jig.
  3. Finesse - 6'8" Medium, XF spinning Worms - 7' Heavy, Fast baitcasting
  4. UUUUUUUGGGGGGG!!!!!! He didn't just write that? I don't see what the big deal is.
  5. the smallest you can get away with is 4/0. 5/0 is the right hook for these though.
  6. Just fish Fireline Tracer Braid and tie the low vis section to the bait.
  7. You have to have 5" Senkos in Watermelon w/ black fleck, they'll catch fish when nothing else is. Then Berkley Powerworms in 4", 7", and 10"
  8. Yep, it's the chains that get my lure half the time. Definitely worth the price.
  9. Yes, I use straight braid, no leader.
  10. The Caffeine shads are great! Probably my favorite bait of the product line. Weighted 5/0 EWG 1/16 oz or 1/8 oz in the rivers is lethal, or if they are in the shallow, just an unweighted 5/0 hook. BTW, I love the smell of these baits, almost tempted to eat one dont lie, hammer, youve taken a bite... Ya got me. Haven't tried the coffee tubes yet, they have so much salt on them though, I'm afraid of a heart attack.
  11. 6"? I'm picturing a t-rex rather than a spider monkey. ;D

  13. Everything pretty much boils down to these two colors for me: Green pumpkin Black/blue The baits: Berkley Power Worm 7" and 10" Berkley Chigger Craw SK Coffee Tube SK Perfect Rodent (I use this in Okeechobee Craw)
  14. Trilene XL Also, I guess it isn't technically mono, but Sensation.
  15. I was having the same problem with Suffix. Switched to Fireline Braid and haven't had a problem since.
  16. Thanks for the help. Looks like Zoom and GYCB does offer the color.
  17. I own a ton of them...I've never seen a blue trailer.
  18. Would like to have a trailer for jigs/spinners that are that color but never seen one before. I know in interviews he just describes his trailer as "generic" which I assumed meant a non-sponsored product. Anyone know the brand?
  19. They probably kneel down in the middle of their boat, act like they are tieing a lure on or something, and go into a bottle.
  20. Good point. I started out on 1/4 ounce Stone jigs w/ 3" trailer until I caught a few fish and built up confidence.
  21. So they had to run a Ranger boat on the final days?
  22. I've never had a problem with Vanish or Transition, but Trilene 100% fluoro is better.
  23. It's Cabelas...return it. I returned one once, they didn't ask a single question. As skunked made reference to, the warranty on their rods is great.
