Jigs in heavy brushpiles
I use tubes and creatures in those areas. A lot less hangups, just check to make sure the hook isn't exposed.

punching mats/grass with a jig
Agreed, I like a craw or creature for punching mats way better than a jig.

10" Power Worm
the smallest you can get away with is 4/0. 5/0 is the right hook for these though.

Just fish Fireline Tracer Braid and tie the low vis section to the bait.
-
Soft Plastics
You have to have 5" Senkos in Watermelon w/ black fleck, they'll catch fish when nothing else is. Then Berkley Powerworms in 4", 7", and 10"

Lure retreivers
Yep, it's the chains that get my lure half the time. Definitely worth the price.

KVD perfect plastics
The Caffeine shads are great! Probably my favorite bait of the product line. Weighted 5/0 EWG 1/16 oz or 1/8 oz in the rivers is lethal, or if they are in the shallow, just an unweighted 5/0 hook. BTW, I love the smell of these baits, almost tempted to eat one dont lie, hammer, youve taken a bite... Ya got me. Haven't tried the coffee tubes yet, they have so much salt on them though, I'm afraid of a heart attack.

Rod length?
6"? I'm picturing a t-rex rather than a spider monkey. ;D

I own a ton of them...I've never seen a blue trailer.

anyone ID this trailer?
Would like to have a trailer for jigs/spinners that are that color but never seen one before. I know in interviews he just describes his trailer as "generic" which I assumed meant a non-sponsored product. Anyone know the brand?

Do pro's pee off the boat?
They probably kneel down in the middle of their boat, act like they are tieing a lure on or something, and go into a bottle.
-
Another jig question
Good point. I started out on 1/4 ounce Stone jigs w/ 3" trailer until I caught a few fish and built up confidence.

Greg Hackney wins only 500K!! in FLW Cup
So they had to run a Ranger boat on the final days?
-
Good Flouro?
I've never had a problem with Vanish or Transition, but Trilene 100% fluoro is better.

Will they give me a new one?
It's Cabelas...return it. I returned one once, they didn't ask a single question. As skunked made reference to, the warranty on their rods is great.
