Falcon crankbait rod
I was at the toy store, (my favorite local tackle store), and picked up a Bucoo M 7'crankbait rod. The rod was rated for 1/4 to 1/2 oz lures. The rod felt great and I would like a crankbait rod, with a little backbone, for throwing 1/4 oz shallow diving baits. Later, I discovered online that the rod comes with micro guides as well. Does anyone have any experience with either rod or any of the Falcon crankbait rods? Any feedback is appreciated.

what is your favorite copolymer
Although, it's getting harder to find I really haven't found anything I like better than Gamma. (Gamma High-Performance). I have tried the Izorline XXX as recommended here and found it to be a very good line. I plan on trying Yo-Zuri this coming year as it is also highly recommended and alot easier to find locally. But, you asked for our favorite, and mine is clearly Gamma.

St. Croix Premier
I'm just echoing everyone else, you did great! IMHO, I'd look at using the upgrade program and pick up an Avid. That's like an $80 discount on an Avid. Either way you did good and enjoy your St Croix.

Loomis CBR Experience
I used the loomis 783 crankbait rod for a couple of years. Laugh if you will, but I favor a BPS Pro Finesse ML 6'10'' rod. The loomis CBR783 is more of a ml than a medium and lacks a little in backbone, not to mention it's $225 retail and I picked the BPS rod up for $70 on sale. A friend of mine is unloading his 30+ St Croix Legend Tournament rods so I bought a LTBC69MLXF, (dropshot) rod from him for $100. It hasn't replaced my BPS Finesse rod yet, but we'll have to see this coming spring. I use these rods for throwing 1/4 oz top water and shallow cranks with a Abu Premier reel. I think you can do better than the gloomis crankbait rods. I'm not knocking gloomis as I have several other gloomis rods, I just don't like the loomis crankbait rods.
