  1. I really like Bomber, especially the square a
  2. I think ratings very company to company. Most of my rods are St. Croix Legends, compared to my other rods , a medium st. croix is more like a medium heavy in a another rod. On the legends a fast tip is true, but it maybe softer or stiffer on the premiers.
  3. Thanks for the info
  4. It is a great bait. Check out the new Elite -1, better schemes
  5. hate to turn subject, but does that sale at cabelas include online to?
  6. I have the Legend Tournament 6'8" topwater casting rod and use it for weightless plastics and spot removers and its great, you wont be disappointed, great casting distance and sensitive with that xfast tip. I know this is not on the list i figured i would give another model as a option.
  7. Thank you for correcting me i didnt pay any attention to the xpeditor part at the end of the post. My fault, i still love my St. Croix Legends

  9. Bass Mag has its uses for new gear and so forth and yes it would be nice to see prices but overall to me its second hand in getting knowledge and info. To be completely honest 90% of what I buy and learn comes from the information and recommendations I get from the members of this great site. Ive learned much more from Bassresource and its members than i believe i could learn from any magazine or tv show or DVD.
  10. I use a 5:0 for all crankbaits (shallow, medium and deep divers)
  11. you may want to take a look at St. Croix Avid rods as well. They are a little more expensive than the premier model but well worth it
  12. yep handle on scorpion is 70mm versus 84mm on mg50
  13. I castand retrieve right handed. I dont think ive lost a fish. I tried left hand retrieve on spinning and baitcaster and i just cant get used to it and i feel my hook sets arent as good.
  14. I got mine from Overtons.com , paid 59.99 for them
  15. Buzzbaits
  16. i think trolling motors are put on the left to avoid obstructing your view when in the cockpit, since you sit lower than the deck( a little) Thats what ive been told, i wouldnt move it but thats me
  17. What is the best way or how do you suggest i secure plywood to a aluminum bench seat? I want to put a post on the back bench and i know the aluminum alone will not hold it in
  18. By the way i am not defending PETA in anyway I do think they are annoying and their tactics are stupid
  19. My friend used to work at PETA in norfolk doing graphics design and hes not like that at all, he doesnt care that i fish, eat meat etc., i asked him about it 10 minutes ago and he said they do stuff like that every year around april fools day.
  20. I live in VA, you may want to try any local paint store in your area im sure they can tell you or get it for you.
  21. I take your going to paint this boat because you are asking about a etching primer. If you have a bennett paint store in your area they sale a two part paint (i think dupont makes it not sure) that you mix that does away with doing a seperate etch primer, its about 100.00 a gallon
  22. how can i make it more stable? forgot that part in the post
  23. I have a 06 16 foot alumacraft mod v. I bought the mounting bracket from alumacraft for the trolling motor. I have a 71lb thrust motorguide and when a turn it to 4 or 5 on power and turn quick or not the bracket seems to pull the aluminum up and makes the bracket unstable and wobble. There is wood under the bow floor but is riveted with 1 inch in four places. The motor is mounted just to the right of the center and straight back. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
