Ocean City/Ocean Pines Maryland!
i fish trap ALL the time.. there and millsboro pond, betts, and ingrams. I caught a 6lb from trap a week a go, followed by a 4lb, but fishing there is SLOW with the warm weather and algae muddying up the water...

Falcon BuCoo
Hey just ordered a few Bucoos from Falcon.. anyone used the 7'0" MH casting? I was really excited to get it, but read 1 review that it is a really soft rod that is probably better for cranking . already got 3 cranking rods... anyone got one?

Ocean City/Ocean Pines Maryland!
I live around Millville. I fish a lot of the small lakes in the surrounding 25 miles. Millsboro, Betts, Trap etc.. lots of good bass in the lakes around here.

Fishing on the Potomac
I am going to find it asap. I go back to school the 17th, so I will let you know around then. You say Snyders is trolling motor friendly? I know it gets calmer up that way, but do you think it would be ok to take my 12ft v-hull up there? No outboard, just a 36lb thrust trolling motor.

Fishing on the Potomac
yeah i fish greenbriar every now and then, and as for the sharpsburg pond, it good to fish if your the only one there. its really small! seen some 5lb+ bass in there, but all the fish there are spooked for some reason. I am going google map this battlefield pond!! I have always wanted to fish a pond with smallmouth! do you know which battlefield specifically?

Ocean City/Ocean Pines Maryland!
Although I am from Derwood MD, I am living about 15 minutes from Ocean City this summer, and can more than guarantee you that there are no smallmouth in Ocean City. What you caught was a largemouth 8-)

Fishing on the Potomac
to be honest, up around shepherdstown is pretty weak. a low population of good smallmouth. I normally fish right past harpers ferry at around Dam 3 I believe. Hey, if you know any good spots I am all ears... not just for the river either.. any ponds, lakes, etc. Fishing is honestly sparse up around school.

Thousand Islands
Just had a tournament up there. could not tell you a whole bunch about the best time of year to fish it, but the place is beautiful and so are the fish. great smallies and largemouths in the St. Lawrence River. Caught fish up there on a SK Coffee tube in green pumpkinm 1/4oz jighead (open hook) just dragging tthe bottom. Many ways to catch fish though up there

Maryland's Who's who!
warwick, i posted on your "potomac" thread too, but I suggested using a zoom ultravibe speedcraw in green pumpkin on a 1/8oz shaky head. I fish the upper around that area a good bit, and that seems to catch the majority of my fish.

Most Underated Technique or Tackle?
I am a huge Paca Craw Fan but sometimes I use a bait I think is better (depending on the situation) It's called a Bass Pro Shops "Speed-O-Craw" Same Idea as Paca, but its not hollow-bodied. its flat sided and seems to slip throw cover a little better. I also like burying the hook in it. The Legs always run perfect too Came in second place in a tournament throwing this bait alone

You can never go wrong with a Zoom Ultravibe Speedcraw in green pumpkin on a 1/8oz shaky head. Let the current take it.
